The same plumber installed a Delta faucet in the kitchen sink some time ago, but the faucets he put in the bathroom today are Wolverine Brass. I don't think I'd heard of them before, but they're sure heavy.

And in the past, I, too, have had great luck with Moen, and terrible luck with American Standard.

Bird after my wife's first cancer radiation treatment damaged her nervous system and
tripped her pain sensing mechanism to be constantly on in her pelvis, we had a really rough period.
She never got off opiods from then on, but what really did help was the implantable stimulator. We went to the Cleveland Clinic for that.
We called it Sparky. She went through the same test, then the final one installed. It is odd to charge yourself
through your skin, but it works. And you can play with the adjustment to match different times of the day.
Hope your wife gets relief no matter what.

Hope all of you with the flu feel better. David you can't have a cold in Paradise. Not allowed.
My mantra is wash your hands, wash your hands.
I bounced my neighbor's one year old boy in my lap for some time a few days ago and I've been waiting to start sneezing...
But apparently he was fine. Kids live in the petri dishes of nursery care, day care and school, so one sick all sick.
Worse than a cruise ship with the GI bug.
Not sure what the answer is there. Be like the Asians and wear masks.

The golfers in Myrtle Beach have made a run for it, snow on the courses. Taking it's sweet time coming up the coast, now snowing in Charlotte.
Should be here fairly soon. Better go get the mail, though maybe I can wait for a little snow and some tomfoolery with the golf cart... Wheeeeeee.

Toppop, you'd better not be driving anywhere tonight.

What is a shooting board?

Back when dad was young, a relative down on the crick, made homemade fiddles. Dad has one of them. Very rough looking in finish, but i bought a bow and have sawed on it a little.

I am hoping to make a banjo that is different from what you are likely thinking, I want an old time looking banjo, aged brass fittings and very simple look. If someone thinks it is very old I will be :D Ed

Good Afternoon!!!! 60F @ 12:15 PM. A mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 61F. Winds light and variable.

That's some very good news about your wife, Rip. Hope her progress improves and you make it home ASAP!

Oh my, you folks have been busy! Spent all morning catching up, and just hope all of those under the weather, health and real weather wise, get better. That storm coming up the east coast looks nasty. Last two winters I spent in central Ohio were full of ice storms and sub zero temps, and I feel for the folks going through that.

Made it home from the desert yesterday afternoon, safe and sound. Nice weather down there, with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 40s. Much better than the past two years, where temps dipped into the 30s overnight and everyone was shivering round the campfire each evening and morning. The ride down started with temps in the 20s when I dropped down into the Sacramento Valley, but by noon had made it up into the 50s. The bike has a big fairing, heated handgrips, and a nice warm cylinder over each foot, so I was toasty. Stayed at a budget motel in Lancaster the first night and enjoyed some bar food and a few craft beers in the old town portion of the city. Easy ride the next day, I think I posted seeing 77F in San Bernardino where I stopped for lunch. Food at the rendezvous was very good, eight meals cooked on site by a crew of three, morning casseroles with eggs and cheese, smoked meats and canned veggies for dinners, even a dessert or two. No one went away hungry, or even came close to losing any weight! The home brew wasn't much to my liking this year; too sweet and syrupy, but there was a good supply of 805 and other canned selections available. Rode 450 miles on New Year's Day with a friend of mine, it was his birthday so I treated him to a sushi dinner complete with hot saki. That helped clear my head, which had been suffering from the sniffles since the day before. The cold really hit hard last night, sinuses all packed up, runny nose, coughing my head off. Time for more Robitussin and Aleve Cold and Sinus, and some of the home made chicken noodle soup I squirreled away earlier. I consider myself lucky I didn't get sick sooner, as I've had something chewing on me since Christmas. Tis the season, I guess.

My very best wishes to each and every one of you and yours for 2018!

be careful, you have no ditch visitation rights

the last thing you want to do is slide off the road with your new friend.
Of course that could be a great conversation starter. Hows your knee?? :D
Now I know you aren't a wuss when it comes to snow, and it's pretty being out.
Nothing too exciting now ya hear?

I’m on my second day of antibiotics and not on top the world, so I’ll be coming home, putting the truck in the garage and going to bed before too late. No germ sharing, we aren’t teenagers, not even times 3! :D
