Yeah, I found the access schedule for MAC addresses (and you can apply it to the entire intranet system as well). That's not what we wanted to do. We wanted to limit his data usage, regardless of when it happens. Our HughesNet package is 15Gb/month anytime, and 50 Gb/month "bonus" from 2am-8am. We don't have any problems between the two of us. We're a week into our cycle and we've used 1.2 Gb of our 15. When the boy got his first smartphone a couple of years ago, he started draining our data within the first two weeks every month. We were able to divide and limit the data usage on the cell phone plan, but not the home internet. We eventually had to change the password and not give it to him. We haven't gone over since.

He has his own mobile service now which has unlimited data, but it doesn't allow hotspot use. So, he'll need to use our HughesNet for the laptop. Any other browsing or streaming will have to be done through his phone. The workaround isn't perfect, but it'll have to do.

Would of never thought of doing it that way...so smart! My son gave me a pound of green Kona coffee beans for Christmas...I'll roast today and think of sitting on your deck while I drink it.

Thanks.
Enjoy your Kona brew. If you can, try Kau, Puna, or Hamakua beans. Not as well known, but very very good.

Hope to get my balcony bolted into final position this afternoon. Just so glad it went in place so readily. I swear lumber must be getting heavier. Once in place, a trip to HD for the Trex, but that might be tomorrow.

That Trex is heavy, plus the railing, will you have support post to the ground on the outer edge?

I want what's in your coffee...so I can dream too...
All tractors should have seat warmers and warm steering wheels. There should be a law...:D

I did chuckle because I remember Roy calling my place a plantation...but even better, think of Lord Salop in a long coat delivering my tractor each morning.
With a freshly baked scone. I could do this...

And Randy, all it takes is two presses on the key chain. And then, if the truck is facing away, I get the most marvelous bark from the hemi starting up. It goes into a high idle briefly and then settles down. Makes the birds jump and me smile. You would like it...

I have remote start, turns on the heat, defrost and heated seats, or ac, depending on the temps.
Install seat heaters in the tractor seat, kits are cheap.

wow the weather forecast is cold this weekend, that means super cold North of here...
after looking at that, I went down to barn and went over all the faucets and equipment, good thing, forgot to take off pump to water wagon, so
that came apart easily and I put it in the woodshop in the barn. Small electric heater in there sitting on concrete floor, keeps it above freezing during really cold spells.
All the time I personally spent insulating that little room is paying off.

Got dolly for chipper completed. Chipper is sitting on it. Much safer than the HF 1k furniture dolly.
Sure is cold outside. Walking to mailbox. The snow was making crisp crunching sounds.

We have a string of highs in the low 20’s and single digit lows. I went around and made sure all the hoses were disconnected from the frost proof faucets. I lost one a few years ago because I left the hose connected.

Well, per the 10 day forecast, our highest temperature will be 16 degree F....going to be several days in the single digits before that. As I type this, it's right at 10 degrees...

We were projected to hit 19° today ... looks like 14° is as high as we'll get. Our next day above freezing looks like Friday of next week.

Heard today that the 3" or so of snow we got last weekend is already more than we got for the entire winter last year. I'm honestly kind of glad to see the prospect of a snowy winter again. It's been awhile.

Arctic high pressure I believe they are calling it. Lake effect snow in PA mounding up
I wonder how much snow RS has, closer to the water I think than PJ.

Any time you Texans are sweating too much you can watch this:
Jackson Hole Wyoming USA Town Square SeeJH.Com - YouTube
just about every time I check it out, there are flurries.
I bet a camera in Erie PA would be fun today.

Been a long time since I saw that town square in Jackson Hole; 1993 if I remember right.

9 this morning and made it to 23 today. Buppies you were right it’s going to get cold. 37 is the highest temperature in the 10 day.

Really should have finished the insulation in this building. Taking a lot to keep it a workable temp out here. Trying to build some control room doors as some are in bad shape and let in a lot of cold air.

Thomas good news I hope.

Riptide hopefully your wife is getting better.
