Nice. I used to work for an organ builder, and had a small 2-manual pipe organ in my house before I got married. No room in the Wife's house, so I had to put it in storage when we got married. Sold it a couple of years ago. An organ builder I know in Virginia was trying to sell me a pump organ just last week. Wish I had room for another one, even if it's a pump. It's awesome having a pipe organ in your home.

Good morning all, 38 going to 60 with scattered sprinkles. Tried to post yesterday but can't find it today so I guess it did not work. Yesterday was a quiet but stressful day. Dr's blood test came back saying her fluid is to high and that is what is making her so tired and short of breath. Took 2 weeks to figure that out. Stress with wife's family, as always. Feel like going fishing and not baiting the hook so the fish won't bother me but don't have time or the weather. OK Rant over. Thanks for listening guys.

Eric, Thanks for the video, my mom is likely the same age as the farm girl. She graduated high school in 1942.

Praying that everyone is feeling better. Never had a flu shot, wife gets very sick from them so we never bother.

PJ, love the house, we have instruments all around too. Those we intend to learn to play one day.:laughing: 1 mandolin, 2 banjos, 2 guitars and a keyboard thrown in for good measure.

First coffee done. Cloudy day in Wales. She who must be obeyed wants to go shopping so that's my day planned. Maybe I'll get in some tractor time tomorrow.

Had our first frost a few days ago, and now tomorrow is forecast to be 63 to 91 for a low to high. I'm doing my Fall chores. One day in the last week, I used the Hoover Steam Vac on all the carpets in the house, another day I cleaned the outside of all the windows in the house. Another day I moved all the furniture from the deck into the shop, then cleaned the deck. So, if all goes according to plan, tomorrow I'll apply a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams SuperDeck (they used to call it Deckscape) to the deck and steps.

If I did all of that I'd be in traction

I am fine everyone, just needed to vent a bit this morning, Ron the shop is not really up and going, been side tracted with the boy. PJ I need to learn to play but not when I am stressed, it makes my fingers do the wrong things. Is the organ maker you know from just outside staunton va? Been on a tour there and watched them pour the metal for the pipes.

Welcome Diwalli! Sorry you came into the thread at such a sad time for many of us.

I was looking at photos of Anglesey and came across the train station that RNG posted a picture of....so I was surprised that he beat me to the punchline. I might have a wee bit of trouble speaking the dialect with train stations named Llanfairpwllgwyngyll Station...Although, with enough pints, I might speak a bit like that. Beautiful land there.

I sometimes change out SWMBO with She who's my bank officer!

Good evening all. 52F to start the day, overcast and light wind and only trace amount in rain gauge. Wind really started increasing when overcast cleared, and high temp was 75F. Second month in a row with less than 1/2 in rain fall. Men's meeting this morning, waited on bike ride till noon, did not get much else done.
