The low this morning was warm 40*, yesterday's high was 52* with a lot of wind. Today's going to be party cloudy with the high in the low 50'. The wind could gust to over 50 mph.

Welcome... Diwali. Hope you have a good time here.

Didn't do much yesterday. My wife picked up a old style pickup gun rack for me. I'm going to see if I can get it to work in the side by side today.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Happy Nov 1st, boy this year is flying by.

71° F and no rain this month, 83.88 inches ytd. Might have a storm inching over from Oahu.

Wife taking Pilot to sealer for broken handle install. Told it would be a quick job.

Later we accompany our Cottage tenants to visit a builder. He is building using same building material we did which is of interest to our tenants. They still don’t have property but have an offer working.

I did get some mowing in yesterday before taking wife to town for Baskin Robbins

Be safe
Have a great day

Haven't had problems with the scratch resistance, but then I'm pretty careful to use only clean microfiber and real glasses cleaning solution on the lenses. Costco does guarantee scratch resistance though. Have you ever gotten scratched lenses replaced? I have, I think more than once. I do notice that the rainbow look of the anti-reflective coating wears off, but I'm not distracted by stray reflections in the lenses like I was before those coatings were available. Now if I could just keep the molten welding beads and grinder sparks at bay, I might be able to get more than a year or so out of a pair of lenses!:laughing:
Maybe I shouldn't complain. My current glasses are 3 years old. I do have safety glasses for outside and shop work. Also wear a shield when grinding and similar projects. My last Costco lenses were less than a year old when I went in to get the frames fixed and mentioned about the lenses. They would not replace lenses. But gave me new frames because they could not get parts for the frame. That was about 5 years ago. I have not been back.

Just got a bit of a chill. My sister just emailed me to tell me her son bicycles over the Brooklyn Bridge each day going to work in Lower Manhattan.
Could have been him on that bike path. He stayed home yesterday for his daughter's Halloween festivities.

What ever happened to the Ten Commandments?
Sympathy and prayers for those hurt and the loved ones lost.

off to get some breakfast, avoid the speeders getting to school, and then back for my helper. Going to try to drop that dead pine tree without buying new parts
for my fence.

Gee. Someone is looking after your nephew! My daughter works in Upper Manhattan and I was still worried!

41F, overcast, with some mist/light rain @ 12:30. Supposed to warm up to the 60's tomorrow.

Now that I recently went and bought 5 gallon of UTF at TSC, they've put it on sale for $8 off @ $24.99 ... so probably another trip back there to exchange at some point ... Probably work the savings into another couple packages of crocus bulbs ...

Likely spend the day sorting out and filing paperwork.

Might head up to the shop and see if I can find that battery-operated pump for the K1 that I couldn't locate the last time I was up there.

couple packages of crocus bulbs ...
seems neither of us can resist those half off bags of bulbs.
So much potential in that little bag...;)

Bird, you sound like you are being quite productive. 91 degrees, no wonder Ron used to drive all the way down there in the winter.
As everyone else starts to freeze, that warmth is going to feel very good.

My wife picked up a old style pickup gun rack for me.
CWB, you have a keeper.
