I did not know that thanks for sharing

once you buy this way you'll never buy any other, assuming they have what you want. Three grades, basic, grade 5 and grade 8. You buy bolts, nuts, washers all of one color, and get charged like good better and best hamburger. Great idea. I bought about thirty pieces yesterday, they weighed it on the scale and it was about 9 bucks. At Lowes that would be three times that cost.

We do not have a Rural King around here that I know of but numerous TSC. Will check this out thanks

62 right now (in Dallas) and low to mid 70's for the high. Surprisingly, that's not much different then Vermont's current weather and prediction for today.

Boy, I hate flying! Jammed in like a sardine can with wings.

Off to the AS 9100 D seminar in a couple of hours...that's my day

Welcome to Texas Roy! We’ll be very accommodating with our weather for you. But, cold front coming in Friday night so lows in 40’s for the weekend.

Thomas one of the three weather guys I pay attention to has come out with a very ominous weather forecast for the winter. Variable temperatures but very very cold spells with numerous storms like early 60s or the 80s. Mid Atlantic to north east. Would suggest following Greenland Blocks and high pressure on West Coast. If they come to fruition watch out

Roy used to be some good food in the Fort Worth stockyard area but that was in the 80s. Chili was wonderful

Red Steagall’s Annual Gathering this weekend in Ft Worth. Shame Roy’s leaving on Friday.

I buy all my bolts, nuts and washers from TSC or Rural King. By the pound is way cheaper than 2 screws from Lowes. Lowes and TSC are stocked/supplied by the same company.
If i need more than a few bolts i buy them by the box at lowes. Usually cheaper if you need at least a half box.

and then you have spares which is always good. I must have a dozen containers of different size bolts and they really come in handy when you only need or two.

finally got my income tax refund back, that sure took a while. Felt good to put that in the bank. Rain has stopped, everything is green, the bushes and trees and lawn are sighing a collective aaaaaahhhhhhhh.

49° and partly cloudy skies this morning, going up to 52° today. 60s and 70s for the next couple of days, then highs in the 40s for the weekend. The roller coaster continues.

Hoping for the best with Whipper, Don. My Wife's Grandmother used to have a cat that would disappear for sometimes a week at a time. I guess they occasionally just want to go do something a little different.

I usually buy most of my hardware from Rural King, too, Ron. By-the-pound is the way to go. Some stuff they just don't have, though, and I can usually find that odd stuff at the Ace store just around the corner.

Enjoy the conference, Roy. I sure don't miss the inflexibility of AS9100. Hope rev D got a little better.

PJ your house looks great, grading on par with the best

Thanks, Buppies. I don't know about that, but it's much better than it was before. Some of those ruts were almost a foot deep. The machine made relatively quick work of it.

The Lady is fine with the tractor and the implements, Eric. In fact, she's the one who talked me out of getting an old 8N, and buying something new instead. She's definitely a keeper.

The low this morning was 27*, yesterday's high was 61*. Today's going to be in the low 60's with sunny skies and a lite wind.

Not much going on today.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Don, hope Whipper shows up soon.

A nice rain this morning, still warm today, but getting a little cooler later, then warmer, then cooler, roller coaster weather.
Ordered my replacement tool boxes this morning, good bye $3500! Then comes the expensive stuff, the tools. There are a lot of tools I won’t replace, I just don’t use them anymore, I really don’t need a ball joint tool nowadays, but I do have to replace that air compressor. I won’t be done with all this for months.

72°F and .45 inches rain last 24 hours. Still some thunder in the distance, a storm forecasted.

Sears tech due this AM to service the dryer.

Got some mowing done yesterday, not promising for today.

Be safe
Have a great day.

Was 51F with intermittent light rain and 15 mph winds out of the north @ 12:15, earlier the high was 57F ... still blowing pretty good but at least the sun is out. High tomorrow is only predicted to be 46F.

The rain and wind over the last 24 or so hours has blown a lot more leaves down ... but still a whole lot more to go ...

It's that time of year where it gets chilly, wet, and dreary for days on end ... they calling for a chance of rain six out of the next ten days. Kinda makes it tough to vacuum up leaves when they're wet and stuck to the ground or each other :(

PJ,

Your place looks nice. A lot of work to be sure ...

Don,

Wishing you success on locating Whipper, none the worse for going AWOL.

toppop,

Sounds like that was a really close call ... glad you averted disaster this time around.

MG,

I think we'll be good on the septic ... will find out for sure on Friday though. We have a neighbor who used live in the city ... says he wishes he was on city water and sewer ... I can't imagine why.

I recently started going the parents old paperwork and burning what I can, along with my own.

Billy,

Hope that knee is doing better.

Ron,

Nice pics ...

Nice pics, guys

Steady rain, flash flood warnings. Sears cancelled.

Guess it’s an inside, laid back day.

Guess I should pay more attention to TBN if I knew you were heading to Ct. could have had a coffee
