that's very low humidity RS, must feel good. And good for shop tools. Not going to rust at 16 percent right?

I gave the portable gen a hard long run yesterday, a real workout with the rv a/c going pretty constantly.
Interesting I tripped the breaker, too much draw, when I used my 30 foot approved Camco power cable extension.
Reset it, moved the gen closer to rv, and it ran fine. Very quiet inverter gen under light load but they start making some
noise for sure when the load is high. A Champion is no Honda, nor does it cost four grand. More like a tenth of that, so Honda
must have some serious internal muffler baffling on their units

wife surprised me with the PVC fitting I needed. Glued it up and laid it out.. 250' of drip (12" spacing, .9GPH). Looks like it will work out well. Now to do some weed wacking and clean up around bushes and get the drip line placed where we want it.

Very productive day. Grandson and grand daughter are great helpers. Pole barn roof coating is done. New gutter on west side of pole barn. Replaced 2 bottom tongue and groove boards on west side of pole barn. All done by lunch time. They will return Friday to help with more projects.

Kind of late, but it's my birthday today. Been busy. Worked 1/2 day, then grocery shopping, then drive 1.2 hours home.

Eric, we have attempted to make a Manchester Tart, but I have a question to ask. Does it still count as a Manchester tart if you make the base and middle layers with shortbread crust in lieu of "short crust"? If I made a perversion of the real thing, might I call it "Lee County Tart"? You see, I like shortbread, and a bakery about 20 miles south of us makes a wonderful cherry shortbread. I believe each piece (about 100mm x 50mm x 50mm) costs about $3 or more dollars, so it is pricey stuff.

I had my daughter, son, and wifey all involved with making it. It is hard to believe how much money and labor can fit into a 14" diameter porcelain tart dish. It is in the refrigerator (not sure what the English call it), cooling down. My wifey is actually a bit edgy awaiting the cutting, hopefully in another 30 minutes or so.

So from top to bottom, the layers we went with are from top to bottom:

Shredded coconut and fresh raspberry garnish
Homemade whip cream
Bananas mixed in with homemade custard
shortbread
whipcream
raspberry jam (store bought)
shortbread

And that's about it.

Nice photo PJS.
RS, really nice flower bed.
farmer, hope your allergy shots go your way.
Ed, glad to have Ed back.
RNG, nice Beemer. Hope your VW project keeps moving forward.

Hope all of you have a blessed evening.

Kind of late, but it's my birthday today.

Happy B-Day, Kyle. Hope you don't get any candle wax on your tart/cake!

Nothing serious at Dr, likely a strained muscle.
Ibuprofen refill (the 800mg) and a muscle relaxant prescription.

Nice lunch with wife at V
Chinese buffet.
Dogs enjoyed the ride to cooler part of the island and their McNuggets.
Kekoa more energetic, must be recovering, or decided to forgive me stealing his maleness.

All this a/c talk?????? 74°F as I type. Was 66° in Waimea.

Time for a quick nap.

Good evening all. 78F for the start this morning, mostly clear sky, and calm wind. Wind moderate today, temp rose to 100F, and skies clouded up a bit but still no rain. Bike ride this morning, had been having trouble with cadence sensor, worked fine today. after lunch and nap cleaned up front side and back porch.
