Good Morning! 52F @ 5:15AM. Abundant sunshine. High 68F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.

Beautiful kitchens guys! The best part of doing projects like that is finishing them...

The truck's all packed with mostly electrical parts and tools for a day at the mechanic's. Nothing like spending a beautiful spring day in a dark stinky garage.

Took the time to draw out the electrical schematics for the headlight and driving light wiring on the computer yesterday, in the process deciding to do it right and add a terminal strip for powering the new electrical accessories and additional relays as well. So while I'll get a good start today, I'll be waiting a bit on parts to show up from Amazon, again.

I also have stops at the lumber yard and Home Depot to pick up the cabinet plywood and laminate. Which reminds me I need to remind myself to pick up some contact cement, too.

Poured first cup of coffee. 60° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 78° with partly sunny skies. Lots of wind yesterday kept me off the patio in afternoon. Rain overnight. Taking wife to dinner and a Willie Nelson tribute show in evening.
Nice kitchens. Need to keep wife from seeing. Our is 1990's.
Good Morning All.

I'll second that, all in favor say aye.

Aye Aye (Have to say it twice to make it above TBN's 5 character minimum requirement)

Well since I'm already typing...
Got home early yesterday from work yesterday. Took Nyquil twice and slept 16 hours. Feeling a bit better this morning. Still stuffed up but not as achy.
Can't wait til I can go fishing. Found a place where the swamp drains into the lake. The red fish and flounders are usually there waiting for the bait to come out. At least that's what I'm thinking. Gotta test this out.

53°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 63° later today. Chance for some boomy storms here Wednesday and Thursday, then the weekend is supposed to be relatively nice.

That's some great-looking work, Lenny.

Got home last night to find the new electrician waiting there to take a look at the basement and give us an estimate. He had that same deer-in-the-headlights look as everyone else who sees the state of the wiring in that house. He didn't run screaming out the door, though, so that's good.

Wife also cooked dinner in the new kitchen for the first time. She was giddy like a school girl. This is a good thing. ;)

No amusement parks in my backyard, but that is cool. When my kids were pre teen. I Built a huge swing set out of 4x4's, my wife and I used it all the time, and I also built a 20'x40' skating rink, 4x6 on 12" centers with 9/16" plywood, railing was 4x4 upright with 2x4 tops. I made every kid in the neighborhood get their parents to sign a release. I realize that wasn't worth much, but it made me feel better. It probably would have been cheaper to have bought the local rink! LOL

Another day of 70's but with thunder today.

65°F and .32 inches rain last 24 hours. Raining as I type.

Looks like the loss of my current ISP is pretty definite for Fri. Eliminated 1 alternative as we are not quite in their coverage. The 4GAS.com appear to be my best option and hope to get that finalized today. What a PITA!!!!!

Be safe
Have a great day.

That's great! We are thinking of replacing ours next fall. It's black with sone gold flecks, which we don't like and it wasn't supposed to have. Yours appears to have white in it?

Yes, Randy. It has mostly black, gray, and white, with minor bits of brown that help tie it to the cabinets. There is actually more black in it than we were expecting, but it works well with the appliances.

It came from Metro Marble & Granite in Granite City, IL ... which is our hometown, and actually got its name from the early production of Granite Wear cook wear that the town built up around in the 1800s.

Thanks, we have two good granite suppliers here, That Granite Place and Ancient art Stone. We have black appliances, and maple floors.
