44 high of 54 later. Yesterday's good dose of rain like wngsprd water standing everywhere, pond is over full and more still running off.

Drew be well taking injections in ones back is no fun and somewhat dangerous I would think

Drywall men finished hanging drywall and started mudding the joints and screw holes. Final coat goes on today. Plumber comes to hang valves then the tile man who may take two weeks to do his work

Those in snow and ice drive carefully. Winter is getting ready to come back in all her glory most likely lasting until March. The southern jet stream becomes active once again and with the sudden stratospheric warming event having staying power the cold will stay around this time. Janurary 30 is one date to watch Feburary 5 another

That was the more common combo, the blue with white stripe was much more rare, then of course later you could get a bunch of colors. I've owned 2 Trans Ams, 3 Formulas, 3 Firebird 400's 2 Firebird 350's and an Esprit that was a factory 400 H.O. car. Four were first generation, two were third gen, the others were second gen cars.

Some really nice cars always thought Pontiac handled better than the camero and looked better to. Wife and my first car was a firebird 1977 with 350. We had a ball with it

28 here. Snow and sleet coming down with 3-4 inches on the ground. Not going to clean up till after sleet stops.

Be safe if you have to drive in that stuff

37 going to 55 and looks like the rain has ended for a spell. Fields turned into ponds yesterday, and some roads into streams.

Great to see Christy at work again. I listen to the BBC radio news sometimes when leaving the house to drive to hunt at 3am.

Lynn, if Drew only wants 1" of your snow, it looks like you have enough left to send me about a foot, please.

We didn't have many hot cars in my neighborhood growing up, but one friend had a 67 Mustang with a 429 (I think) that he worked on all the time. I'm sure it had 500 or 600 hp and he had many encounters with the police to the point that he had to sneak it through the back roads to get out of town.

Drew, hope you feel better.

Gotta love those 429s

Drinking first cup of coffee. 47° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 53° with partial sunshine. Doctors visit went well yesterday. 2 more visits scheduled for this week. Salt River flooded crossover that we normally take. Added 1/2 hour to our travel time. But since we left early made appointment with 1 minute to spare. Going to stay out of the cold today.
Drew, good luck with injection.
Irv, hope you found your list.
Good Morning All.

up early, waiting for cab to take me to get an epidural, they won't let me drive and my normal ride is busy.
Hopefully this will go easily, new doc (to me) doing the injection at C6

much cooler 42 going into low 50's today.

Hope your needling is painless. I've had 3 or 4, most with no pain, but had one where the "doc" felt like he was fishing around. Just reading about a C6 epidural causes a twinge in my back.

Be careful guys, driving can be dangerous.

Good morning! Partly cloudy 53˚heading to 80˚.

Eric, I saw Christy's story and 15 minute audio interview on BBC news yesterday also.
The dental nurse who became an alligator catcher - BBC News

I wonder if they will give her less when she wants to trade in her SUV. I thinks she needs a winch connected to some sort of skid to slide the gators into an enclosed trailer.

Good luck on you pain relief Drew. Don't you wish they just made an app for that.

Drew has not moved into the smartphone world yet. Still using his flip phone. I bet if there was a APP he would upgrade.

37°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 52° today.

Insulation rolls were all removed from the attic yesterday, and a service will be there Thursday to blow in new. It was noticeably cooler upstairs this morning. Our electrician is coming back now to get a better look at the wiring up there, now that it's all exposed (this was the initial inspiration for the remodel, as the electric in that house is, to put it politely, a mess).

Good Morning! 38F @ 6:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High 47F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Was all set to install a new smart switch yesterday, but opening the factory sealed box showed it to be empty except for the packaging. Not looking forward to making that phone call this morning.

It seems Dish Network has stopped distributing the local ABC TV affiliate's programming because of a disagreement over how much the programming is worth. In the past, Dish would steal the signal off the air and resell it to customers. Now they don't want to pay what it's worth, but still want to charge customers like me for providing it. So I called 'em up yesterday and told them to stop charging me for something I'm not receiving, and got a $5/mo. reduction for three months. Hope the argument is over by then; that station has the best local weather coverage.

Remodeling can be painful. I was fortunate to get a good contractor, good work done on a schedule. The last part can be tough.

I am in the process of changing from Direct tv to Uverse. Mostly for economics, but also the snow and rain screws up the dish.

I agree, I had an '80 Z/28 and an '83 Berlinetta (nothing special), my wife had a '95 Z28 convertible as a weekend toy for several years, I liked it very much. My '67 Impala SS with the '96 LT1 drive train was my favorite still.

Cloudy for about day 8 now, cool and breezy. The nor'easter snapped a tall slim gum tree in the back, now the limbs are touching the ground, I have to cut it down and drag it to the woods.

Praying that your injections go well. I had those before I had surgery and they were a lifesaver (complete pain relief for a month or two each time). When I got my first one, I was to the point of having trouble walking, almost danced when they got me up off the table, it was so nice to have some time without pain. I walked standing tall out of that office..

I had a 79 Belinetta, and a 83 Z28. The Z was my favorite. Then I got married and bought a house.....
