Good Morning! 54F @ 8:15AM. Sunny. High 73F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
We've had another low pressure area drop down from the Arctic, perfect timing for the first day of fall. But it'll be back to near hundreds by the weekend, perfect for finishing up that paint job on the van.
Well Don, if you were looking for the owner's manual for a Ford car, they're available free here. But the tractor is a different story, and every place I found has their hand out. Amazon has one, and displays a picture, so at least you'll know what to look for over at your Dad's place:
Ford 261 361 411 461 Tractor Operators Owners Manual SE4 26: Ford / New Holland: Amazon.com: Books
Makes you almost look forward to winter to try out that new blower, eh Roy? :confused2:
Drew, the Ariens log splitter I have came with a Subaru engine. Ten cords later it starts on first or second pull and doesn't leak, and seems to have plenty of beans to get the job done.
Got the door jams painted on the van yesterday, but strong wind forced a late start and the clear coats went on with the help of a flashlight. Can't wait to see what it looks like this morning. Hopefully no runs or other problems that don't show up at night!
I'll take advantage of these brisk temperatures to pick up some of the wood that was scattered over the back yard by the inmates, and try to smooth out the dozer ruts as well. Then off to town for groceries and other errands.
