David, the AMA Boats have excellent food. My favorite meal, on the AMA Sonata was breakfast ......... until lunch was served ....... then there was dinner. Choices, choices, choices. They serve excellent wines with lunch and dinner.

Kyle that is not normal. He was either on Coumadin or had a blood disorder. If he was on Coumadin he should have had his medication adjusted.

You can eat too many greens but it takes a lot. How many cups of raw greens was he eating a day?

Don, you are correct on both situations. He's a diabetic and taking Coumadin, and I believe he was having 2 or more servings of cooked greens daily.

Up early did some more drywall, going to check on some things at home, then check in with the eve. She is off with a girlfriend, having breakfast.

Now that's a good one. Mine wouldn't let it go that long. The only reason I've gotten away with it this long is I've used the "well one kid is always asleep" excuse. It's not really that bad. But after I messed up the third piece out of the seven I tried. I decided to stop while ahead.

I did some trim work the other day, don't mind it myself. Just don't ask the wife why i still have some to do in our bathroom going on 18 yrs......

Those are some of my excuses. But I was trained by my Dad who took 20 years to get around to fully finishing off the back porch.

Which reminds me, summer break is over and I've got to finish the bathrooms, just can't wake the sleeping son.

Lots of activity here yesterday, but not as productive as planned. Had a dozer and excavator on site all day, but the hand crew that was supposed to chip the brush and tree limbs was a no-show. The excavator did a great job of breaking down the windrows of dirt and trees, and laying the trees out so that the crews could get to them and limb them up. Nothing like having the right tool for the job, as what he did in a day would have taken me years to accomplish. The dozer did a fair job of recontouring out the ruts and rock outcroppings created in the fire breaks. He left plenty of grouser marks, but I found them easy to smooth out with the box blade and by back dragging the bucket on my little Kubota. I also snagged one of the many large rocks and moved it up to the row between the neighbor's driveway and mine to block traffic across the two. There are several more rocks showing now that I'll take a swing at today, really putting the test to the home made fork bracket and the TPH. But without the crew the chipper man just stood around doing little more than sharpening up the two blades on his machine. We're supposed to have a full crew today and tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

Kyle your brother should tell his doctor to adjust his medications, It is better for him to eat more greens and reduce his medication.


David, what is offered for a fat free plant based diet for heart patients there? I see some fruit but do they have anything a little heartier?

If you're a member of a gun club or NRA, it's time to file a class action lawsuit against each member or the legislator, the governor and California. This is a major infringement on your constitutional rights.
