Good morning all. 65 here this morning going to 86 with a 40% chance of thunderstorms. Mowed yesterday and worked on my closet, adding shelves. Called a craigs list add for a mini wood lathe for two days and then emailed them, they had the wrong phone # listed and someone else got the lathe. Called another and the guy is out of town until the 23rd so we will see. Glad I did not get the first one as this one is bigger.

David sounds like diesel is high but how much do you have to spend on heating and cooling?

RNG I like to see people make things happen and get the job done :thumbsup: me, I would have called someone to do it long ago.:laughing:

70 this morning high of 84 later today with rain shower possible next week looks wonderful. Kevin hope tooth feels better.

Yes A/C is now working to perfection very please with how quiet it is. The temperature is set to 71 and it is consistent throuout the house. Propane furnace still has to be dialed in though

68 going to 91...but temps are expected to drop 10 degrees next week...is that because some of Buppies new cold air will make it over the state to Central Virginia?

Kevin, I don't think I'd be up for running a chainsaw after a root canal.

Planning on taking the dogs and my son for a hike today before he leaves.

Picked up a lot of sticks and dead limbs yesterday, and a few leafy ones, from the storm that came through Wednesday night.

Looks like I won't be getting any more nightly visits from our local red fox - saw vultures working on him out front on the road. But there are others, based on trail cam photos.

Poured first cup of coffee. 65° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 84° with chance of thunderstorms in afternoon. Wife got a diagnose yesterday. Not good but at least we know. Making plans for a second opinion. Need to get lawnmower ready for lawn cutting tomorrow. Blades need sharpening. Then a grease all the fittings. Need to do same to MMM on tractor.

Good Morning and thanks for the well wishes. The tooth isn't giving me any problems now that nerves are gone and the temporary filling is in. That was the second appointment for the same tooth and it still has to be crowned $$$.

Did yard work all day yesterday to get ready for campers this weekend. See my post in lawn and garden, that was a LOT of grass! The camping will probably be cancelled since we have a 70% chance of thunderstorms Saturday. Oh well, at least the place will look nice for awhile.

Haven't seen any mole damage since Jena killed the last one but it's only a matter of time I'm sure.

A little cooler this morning and cooler weather, slightly, ahead.
Kevin, I had to have a bridge put in about six months ago, and now the molar under the bridge needs a root canal.
If I can run a chain saw the same day they torture me fixing that, I'll be the happiest camper alive.
I could have bought a nice chipper for my tractor
for what I spent on my teeth this past year. Of course, they are mini chippers, eh?
problem is it's like fixing your septic system, no improvement over what you had, lucky if you get back to where you were after spending
a ton of money.

Good morning! 76˚ heading to 85˚ cloudy 25% chance of rain. We had another 1/3" of rain yesterday and it is looking green for August, a very nice surprise.

I was happy to see Cathy Fisher reach and exceed her goal for her plant based, no oil or sugar cookbook on kickstarter.

ok, ok, think well pump instead, a really deep well pump with a whole new casing
