Good afternoon,
Well I went to get gas and drop off some trash at the dumpster. When I went to back out from the dumpster Brain's mother from down the lane, Lonnie crashed into the truck with their golf cart. I did not see her coming or for that matter even think about anyone behind me. So it tore the ABS fender off the golf cart and ripped the side off the back step on the pick up that I use to get into the bed. :mur: :mur: Guess I will be looking for a fender for the golf cart.

I got back then flipped the mower deck I took off yesterday over and cleaned it up and took off the blades. Nothing to do now but wait for the parts to get here.

Very windy here today.

Can we form an orderly queue please for this cheap petrol ?

It has come down significantly here and is now only $1.50 - except that is the price per LITRE . I would do the sums to convert to US gallons, but I know that would only make me cry.

Well let me see, for tea my wife has made a pearl barley risotto with peas, carrots, leeks and thyme. All plant based !

41F foggy over night rain now gone,upper 50's for high.
After today warm spell will be absent until sometime next week...nice while it lasted.

46 going to a sunny 76. Happy St Patrick's Day. Clover is growing fast and green.

Grass needs mowing already, quince are blooming, black snake came on the porch yesterday and curled up in the corner behind a planter...just checked and still there...once it warms back up will have to keep an eye for it.

41 going to 65 nice and sunny today. Cooling off a little each day and they are calling for snow this weekend. Have a big cherry tree that leans over the line and over my neighbors storage trailer, (read moving company trailer that would be pulled by a semi) Lately a few limbs have fallen off and poked holes through the top of his trailer. He has a big extend boom forklift and a man basket so he is going to set me up there so I can take it down a piece at a time. Hope to get that done today or soon. Hope all is going well for you all.
Saint Patty's day seems like a good day to get rid of your snake troubles. Guess I'll have to put on my green boxers today, It;s the only thing I have that is green. Ed

43 this morning and headed to 67 today. Snows out of forecast for the weekend. Currently it's just supposed to be rain.

Last half of birds leave tonight. Am going to try to get the two barns from yesterday washed down and go get the decruster. That way everything is here. Then maybe tomorrow will be able to finish sowing seed.

Mid 40's and foggy, had a big old pop up storm last night, dumped about .2" of rain in about 15 minutes, then dissipated as fast as it popped up. High in the upper 60's today, maybe low 70's. Cold weekend coming up, might get get snow Saturday night, then back to spring. We have a trip to Front Royal Sunday for oldest grandson's birthday, last I looked they were calling for 1"-3" of snow there. I hope not.

Good morning! 67˚ misty. Wngsprd, I wish I could have a pet snake on the porch but Whipper won't allow the invasion of her space. Yesterday when I had the sand all smooth to place the pavers when a lizard crawed across it and Whipper went bananas, lunging and biting throwing sand all over as the lizard sat up the wall laughing as Whipper was excitingly looking all over with a mouth full of sand. She cause a delay but I manage to finish the paver side walk project yesterday. Below are the midway and after pics.

Looks good. Some of the bricks in picture look likes they are cut on a 45°. Is that something new or a illusion?

Good Morning. 0855, overcast, 69F with 99% humidity. Forecast high of 80F with 80% chance of a thunderstorm today, and a low of 62F tonight. I got my orange tree planted yesterday, as well as a soft pear I grew from seed. Odds are it is not a seedling, but all it cost me was time. In 4 or 5 years I will see what I have. It was the first time I had turned on the water to the orchard this spring. It all held until I turned off one of the spigots, then it blew the next one in line off. It was right at suppertime, so I just turned it back off. I'll worry about that another day.

The election messed up my schedule, so I have to go to town for the week's shopping today. We have a Rock-a-thon tonight at work. I will set up for the weekend's wedding when they get done.
