Good Morning. 0830, sunny, 40F with 55% humidity. Forecast high of 54F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 33F tonight. Another cool one today, but it doesn't look as nasty as yesterday. It was after 0100 when I got in from work. Waking at 0630 wasn't part of the plan. Oh well. No real plans for the day, other than a woods walk, and going out for supper with Margie and friends.

Prayers sent for Bird.

Google maps just updated their sat photos. You can see my garden from space. {check out the new waterlines} Looking back in my "How does your garden grow???" thread, I narrowed down the date of the picture to the week before November 8th. I had dug the trench for my pepper and tomato plants, but they were still in the swimming pools. I have pictures of them in the trench on November 8th.

I don't know how to post pictures from Google maps, so I took a picture of my monitor. Sorry for the uneven lighting.

Good late morning,
Well the day started out at 27 degrees as I drove to the dentist for my 6 month check up. Now it is 28 and they say no better than 32. Unlike yesterday today is cloudy. Maybe work on prepping the wall in the kitchen for the tile job I want to do next week. Maybe not.

Good morning all. 31F this morning, clear and very light breeze. Forecast for 58F, 14+ mph winds, and mostly clear. Already been to town, need to check on the results of consulting work, and ride and organize garage for TMA. Have a growing list of projects, spring maintenance on both bikes, mower, cruse control on pickup and replace intake gasket set on van.

One of our forever Moderators here on TBN, Bird, started a thread in "Front Porch" last night. He is having Stent/bypass surgery this morning starting in 30 minutes. We wish him the best. The Good Morning group probably knows what diet I'll recommend for a permanent recovery.

I found out through sources that one of Austin's major Hospitals is adopting the Ornish plan in their "intensive" cardiac rehab. It has been medicare approved and has been successful in other hospitals.

Drew, depending on your fab skills your might take the gear puller make steel arms rotate the hook 90 deg. and hook onto the steel arms on the wheel. As for the nut part, can't be too bad off if you are worried about it

Thanks for the welcome guys. Always nice to see what others with some of the same interest have going on.
Just a bit about me, I am retired from Caterpillar since 2009 and we have 8+ acres on the North Bluff above Marseilles IL. about 2 1/2 acres are grass the rest is heavy woods with ravines. Our lane into the property is 1/2 mile long. So there is always something that needs tending to. And every Ash tree on the place is dead or in the process. So there is plenty of work to do. When I am not outside I spend a lot of time working on my O gauge train layout in the basement. Keeps me thinking and the grand-kids love to play with them. I just have to make sure they only run the ones that can be lost. :laughing:
Enough about that. I had better get going, I need to prep the wall above the kitchen sink for some tile work.

For the past couple of years, we have had two off topic forums for members who wish to talk about topics other than tractors with their tractor-loving friends.

Up until this point, the off topic Front Porch was available to all members who had at least 50 posts, and the Friendly Politics forum was accessible only by request.

Starting now, both of these forums will be accessible only by request.

I have no idea what is discussed in Front Porch btw

I dont venture to the front porch after you had to get a special blessing to sit out there. Nor do i want to venture into the political stuff. I prefer to talk shop out here.

Anyone with advice on removing wallpaper border ? Fortunately not the whole wall. I believe i used the siezing(?) when installed, but won't pull off easy.

Steam works good or maybe just hot water and a sponge. I sent you a PM on Birds post, don't blame you at all for not wanting to go the controversial forums.
