I am selling my 7yo Haflinger gelding, he is stout enough to pull stuck tractors out of the mud and small enough to ride

sounds like the most powerful one hp device you have...;) four wheel drive too

I can just see me leaping over my water ditches galloping around the outside of the orchard, hard left around the big tree and back down around, over two ditches on the fly and then skid to a halt in front of the barn. Wheee.
Hey boss, could you get off now, you lardbutt.

Watching it all unfold in my mind and see you looking good... Actually I was wondering how many hits we would get on Utube

Cool here this am, overcast. Supposed to have lunch with a neighbor, he was at the docs yesterday. He needs some pretty serious surgery, but he is refusing it, saying that he has had enough. I think he is fatalistic, as he has remarked several times that he has outlived all of his relatives. I keep telling him to think about the grandkids, but he has his mind made up. Sad, but it is his life.

Had a problem with my boxer girl, or my gurrrl, as I call her. She somehow had got into a yellow jacket nest! The warm weather apparently got them active. She kept getting me up during the night, I didn't notice anything wrong, I just thought she needed to go! At about 2 am, she woke up my wife, and she noticed that her face was swollened up. So, a run to a all night animal hospital, a steroid shot, more Benndrill. And about $200. But she is worth it. Every penny, and a lot more.

So now we are back to our usual programming!

Have a good one!

Yeah, wasp's can cause havoc. My dog likes to bite them and one stung his ear about a year ago, caused it to swell up like a balloon, when the swelling went down 2 weeks later it caused his one ear to be all jacked up. I laugh at him now because it reminds me of Shirley Temples hair. I know I am a cruel heartless man...

Turns out the boxer gurrrl may not have got into a bug nest. She showed up with bumps again tonight, and it is snowing here. She has been supervised all the time. But then my wife rembered she gave her some sample food, she got for free from a pet store. We won't feed her any of that and see what happens.

Woke up in Front Royal, 36° and dropping, drove back to Delmarva and found it overcast and 43°, wind chill was 37°. A lot colder than the 63° on Thursday.

27 here, snowing a little bit. The wind was enough to glaze over the roads, and I saw my first 4x4 in the ditch on the way home. I drive a old Chevy pickup, 2wd and I just take it easy. But I didn't end up in the ditch. :). He hit hard too, probably some front end damage, and needs a wrecker to get out, as he is jammed in at a angle on a hill.

I sleep in. I start my day between 8-9am. Doesn't mean I'm not up earlier than that. Now I may not quit till 10-11pm. The ones that I know that get up every morning and wake the roosters quit about 5pm. They think I sleep too long and I think they quit too early. Guess it's just the difference in people.

Reminds me of a young dairy farmer I used to know. He'd milk at 10 in the morn and about 9 at night and all the old timers couldn't wait to get together to talk bad about him. He knew and could care less. It fit his lifestyle and the cows didn't care a bit as long as they got milked twice a day.

He's the same guy that tried to sell me a 69 Coronet RT 440 w/ 6 pack. All for the whopping sum of $2500 in 1980. Wish I had bought it, and wish I would have kept it had I bought it.

RNG forecast sounds good but will mess with your dialing in the bike. What choice rain :cool2: or biking :dance1:

All it took to get the rain started was to get the darn bike ready to ride. If I'd have known that's all it took to break down the storm doors and get it raining again, I would have tried to get it done sooner. :duh::laughing:
