Finished decorating the tree yesterday, with my wife "strategically" placing most of the ornaments - she has a method, and my contributions, once the lights are strung, aren't always helpful.

Early dental check up and then home to paint some trim in this relatively warm weather.

I know what you mean, some are a bit overboard, but most are great! I did a bunch of those stick trees as I call them, look like like trees with no leaves, they look very natural. I was afraid it would look goofy, but Lynn says the trees are fine, it's me that looks goofy!

Here's the sand that I promised somebody! And no, that's not my ugly as$ed fence!

25F after a clear but cool mid-30's sunny day.

Just came back from the regular maintenance evening at the VFD. Cleaned up and test ran a couple of chainsaws. We have a new Husky 572 XP saw. Whoo hoo! The sprocket cover and chain tension set-up is a bit funky though. The cover doesn't feel like it fits in its position solidly. Leaves you sort of guessing is it in the right spot or not?

70% chance of rain & freezing rain Tuesday night. 100% rain on Wednesday, staying barely above freezing Wed. night. That's the local outlook.
