Supposed to be in 30s this morning high close to 50 today and no wind, thank goodness. Have to take truck to shop this morning then haircut. Hopefully truck will be ready on return then her car goes to shop.

Still no Xmas shopping done

Big push on getting work done next week as weather is going to turn for worse I fear, but at least California is getting water and lots of it

Next weekend wife and I get to go to our first professional football game and maybe while in Queen City get some shopping done. Heat pump replacement is going to put a damper on what we can do

House is warm this morning so it appears that the furnace is working although there is some doubt due to a throughly cornfused report from Cupcake about what went on after I went to bed last night.

Got the plate cut to size for the top of the wood burner yesterday ... just need to figure out where I need to punch the hole for the start collar for the duct work.

Supposed to hit the low 40's today so I might get the trim and the weather stripping installed on the overhead door @ the shop.

31F & snowing lightly. 2-3" of snow overnight, I'll be getting the tractor out sometime today.

RS Good news on the furnace hope it keeps running. I've known a few people who have the side-by-side hot air wood & oil furnaces, they seem to work pretty good for them.

25F now mid to lower 30's for high.
Slept in 6:30am this morning,been long time since I've done that and it felt good.
Finish clean the house roof of last night,it was tough going but in strange felt good being out late better than watching no mind tv program.
Today...blow the path way snow from the roof which should be interesting say the least,diesel run,hardware store,gas for pickup.plow another 1 1/2" snow fallen last night also frontend loader work removing snow around the house,not sure what the Mrs. has plan.

Good morning! And Happy Sequential Day - 12-13-14.

56˚ heading to 71˚ foggy.

The septic tank was pumped out and is good for another 5 years. Yesterday I realized there were 2 more access holes on top of the cement septic tanks and so I dug them out and installed a two more risers for easy access. The septic man suggested Ts on the inlets but I'm considering the need and started a thread in rural living for ideas.

No Piggly Wiggly near here unfortunately... Sadly I was laying in bed unable to go back to sleep due to irrational middle of the night worry...

I seem to have an inbound job offer, but it is a significant step down in both career level and income from where I have been of late. I also have my big house in town vacant the end of January (terrible time to be looking for renters) and in general I'm just stuck where I've been most of the last couple years and I got wrapped around the axle hoping for some TBN cheer...

I did eventually go back to sleep...

The day will be a day of gathering and packing items that will come with us on our southern trek. Ending with a celebration dinner at my favorite restaurant.

Poured fist cup of coffee. 56° with rain this morning. Heading to 65° with some more rain all day. West coast weather has dropped down into AZ. Made trip to Mesa, AZ with a minor problem. Had a blowout on a rear tire. 1 1/2 hours later back on the road. Rest of trip went well. Now I need to look for some new tires. Got RV set up for the long winter stay. Did a drive around resort. Could not find even one tractor. Well I am sure TBN will help me get my tractor fixes for the next few months.

Good morning, 30F when I woke up heading to 40F. I made it to work but the wife didn't, she woke up ill and was having balance issues. Told her to stay in bed and rest, hope she is feeling better by the time I get home from work.

It's snowing hard now and what I thought was 2-3 inches this morning was closer to 4". There was heavy snow forecast north of us today, I guess it moved south.

40 this morning and headed for 50 today. Rain seems to be moving further out into the week. Which is ok but the warmer temps we are suppose to get are moving too. I know 50's not bad, but middle of the week it was suppose to be almost 60 here today.

Yesterday's auction was cloudy and quite cold just standing around. Sun never did come out until after it was over. You would be surprised at the people willing to pay new prices for things that are really beat up.
