67 degrees going up to a cooler 78 today in clouds and rain.
Headed off early to the Dodge dealer to get my first oil change in the truck.
No 29.95 special this morning; I bet that diesel takes ten gallons of oil...

no, a whole lot more complicated...Heat pump with a separate propane furnace for backup during the winter.
Which I find interesting because my Trane heat pump up in PA did just fine in zero degree weather. Of course it had electric heaters (toasters...) as backup, not propane as I do now. The "pack" is short for package I guess; packaging a heat pump and gas furnace together. Tall thing, easily eight feet. Gas furnace plus air handler/blower and a/c coil on the bottom going out to the condenser outside.
