The Deere sounds like the real thing and a diesel in that size would be the cats meow

thanks. It is actually....a real alpha garden tractor though mine is a bare machine with a mower; I also have the Gravely to do many other things. When I find my camera, which is driving me nuts, I want to put them side by side. The JD really is quite larger. More importantly it felt good on my back; that optional seat is nice.

I know this might sound strange, but I went through such H with my wife in the last two years that nothing that happens to me is going to upset me much. Worrying about yourself is infinitely less stressful than worrying about someone you love, someone you can't live without. But you do of course.

Our grass has slowed down a good bit in this past week. I last mowed a week ago yesterday and it looks like it will need mowed sometime this weekend.

Pump stopped on my power washer yesterday, and I have two more outside walls to complete, so I'll be trying to fix it today.

Drew, good you're keeping your spirits up. A ride on the Kubota is exactly what you need when you get home.

Suppose to be humid today, a/c is kicking in, and have not been outside yet. I did the weed-whacking job and drank beer last night. Unfortunate the gully area that have been made are still too wet for me to do anything about, other than walk gently over. I hope it dries out soonest so I can get a ditch-witch into the area and do some drain lines. I should send the neighbor a bill after I am done.

What to do if the area does not get dry enough? The power company has to come through and trim some trees down, they will not be happy. Hmmm....

My son also turned 29 today...

I'm off to a couple more billable hours this week. I've got a very interesting start up CEO trying to get on the phone with m, I had a great interview for a #1 in their segment large company, good job prospect, and I'm meeting with one of my favorite people on Monday to try to create a job for myself at his firm.

Maybe finally my luck is turning...

David and Drew it's good to hear positive reports from you both.

It's 71 and misting rain. Headed to 76. The forecast says fall has arrived. Got some rain last night. The weatherman had been excited all week about severe weather. Heavy rain and moderate 30-35mph winds is all we got.

This day always makes me stop and think. Mainly remembering where I was on this day 13 years ago. And how much it changed us all.
