up a bit early, first and only coffee being drunk, five bags near the door, and I'm outta here shortly for the drive to my new home.
The tractor made it there safely and unloaded nicely; Wed I'll pick it all up with the bucket and arrange everything in the barn.
and then back to PA on Thursday. My home has always looked like a botanical gardens at times, due mostly to my late wife's insistence in having flower beds in every
possible place. And even with a sprinkler system, a variety of things have to be hand watered. And the birdfeeders are emptied after only days, the little oinkers.
The bird waterers go dry after two days. the fountain starts sucking air on the third day. I really don't mind if I'm here. I think the hummingbirds talk to me now..., they will let me water two feet away and go about their slurping. of course this time I made up the red sugar mix properly and apparently it meets the desires of the diners because they will sit there for awhile. Not sip, spit out and fly off. Have to be careful refilling the humminbird feeder; a nice yellow bee flew out about two inches from my noise. Probably drunk on the sugar. I filled it to the top and left. With no rain, the dilute syrup will last at least a week.
now is that drunk bee going to get a DUI or a BUI?
I am going to get neither, and must say good morning and get my butt in gear. More specifically, overdrive at 1800 rpm
