Larro....do you realize your post here is making your "What's for dinner" thread even more redundant? :laughing: So maybe the solution is to morph this thread into an all-purpose "Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, What's For Breakfast, What's for Lunch, What's for Dinner" thread? Do I hear applause for my suggestion? No. Do I see approval :thumbsup: for my suggestion? No. Sure is nice to be appreciated here on TBN....:laughing:

Jd you are confusing things, or not. I want to post this on the "What's for dinner!" thread, but I had it for lunch, but some people call lunch dinner. Now, if this thread has morphed into a mega combination thread it could go here.

sure looks good. Larro, my first job out of college in 1971 was as a food service director for Saga Food Service. Anyone who went to college in the sixties or seventies might have been fed by Saga, they were big institutional cafeteria managers. And the one thing they drove into our heads was the mantra "plate coverage and plate appeal". Cover the plate and make it look good. Well Larro, you always get an A on that. Note that taste was not part of the institutional priority...
those eggs look like locals, nice and dark yellow.

Drew, you are right, they were yard eggs. One of Margie's friends keeps us supplied. Some of them are so small it takes four to make a decent omelet, and the ones I had today were huge. The lady charges $1.50 per dozen for the big ones. I don't know how she pays for her chicken feed with prices that low.

Good morning! Temperature here is 41 going to 51 Winds WSW 5-10mph. The rain is finally leaving.

Good morning all, 68 going up a little to 72, with the rain just about to start here. Flash flood watch out but so far they are only saying one to two inches of rain.
I have a drive right though it to the rv dealership later this morning and then will spend the rest of the day putting away the huge piles of stuff hauled in from the rv.
This weekend the weather is supposed to clear and be nice for awhile; looking to go buy some tomato plants and get them in the big pots on the back deck. No big garden for me this year, am concentrating on the home landscaping and will tweak that before I sell the house next Spring. Will be planting at least three trees in the back yard so next week I start to really focus on what to plant.
