Good evening all. 75F at the start made it to89F (heat index was only 87F :) ) cloudy most of the day. No rain from the front so back to tree watering. Two of the blinds were cut short so the blind project is on hold.

Heck, she's nice enough to warrant a tractor and an implement, perhaps a backhoe. I got my wife a wife a boat and motor for our anniversary one year (relax, I got her a real gift as well) and we still have a great laugh about it. None of us are going to live forever and a woman deserves a nice tractor. :D

That was my wife's present for Mother's day a few years ago!
Boat that is, she does not want a tractor :shocked:

Looking good. I don't see a floor drain for your snowblower melt.

I missed the floor material description. What is your floor made of?

Sorry about the molasses spill.

Dave, figured I'd just let the melted snow seep thru the cracks. :)

Floor is 2x6s over 4x10s

Molasses spill is just amazing. I can't imagine so much leaking and NOT being noticed. :(

Just preordered iPhone 5c for my wife to replace my motherinlaw's iPhone

Just a simple exchange.
MIL has wife's old iPhone 4 on our family plan, which is off contract, therefore upgrade eligible. Mom isn't so tech savvy, doesn't have wifi so can't do FaceTime, tried Tango, but less than 25% success, 0 with Skype. Mom is in NJ, so not exactly easy tech support. If she can Facetime over cellular, she'll get to see more family. Being a bit hearing challenged, real time video calls really help.
When the new 5C arrives, I'll have to swap the phone numbers, reconfigure wife's iPhone 5 for Mom, set up the 5C for wife.
When wife goes to visit next month, she can give Mom the 5 and spend some time teaching her how to use it.
I'll get the iPhone 4 unlocked and then sell it, recovering most of the costs.

Sure sounds easy enough LOL

65 degrees right now, darn feels like summer instead of fall.
Rained all night long with a breeze so made sleeping a bit better
Up at 4 AM knees are really bothering me these past few weeks, not sure what will have to happen with them..

65 this morning high in upper 70s today. Storm and rain promised yesterday never materialized yesterday so we are getting dry pond is down about a foot the lowest it's been all summer. Grass has slowed way down in growth but still have lots of weed eating to do. The flooding in Colorado is terrible and the fire in New Jersey a lot of people needing prayers this morning. One more day out of town this week then weekend TGIF and maybe a trip south for Saturday and Sunday will see when I get home this evening. We haven't been since 4th of July and we both need a little break. Son broke glasses yesterday and was out of contacts so wife made 6 hour trip to take him some contacts. Local eye care would not sell him one set only 6 month supply and had to order those and without them cannot see to drive. Moms gotta love them, good morning

68 degrees out after a light rain, but only up to 75 today.
Lots of errands to run, need to get a haircut, all the little stuff.

Hard to believe that boardwalk fire started in the middle of the afternoon and got that far out of hand.
Of course all those shops are ticky tacky frame and combustibles, but no firewalls? I guess the normal codes don't apply
to a boardwalk... They had just spent eighteen millions dollars fixing up that area; the locals have to be sick.

I emailed a relative in Colorado to make sure they were ok, they were, they're up high. Up high? groan...:ashamed:

David/Sodamo, did you build those implement dollies from scratch? Awesome.... You are the Caster Man!
Very impressive. Boy first time you leak a nice puddle of 30wt on that floor, well, let's not think about it...
David/Mossflower: did you get home alright? Still sleeping in?
