Friday was a fall like day, low humidity, 70's barely and high blue skies. Today back to normal, mid 80's tomorrow 90.Had dinner with our daughter, son in law and youngest grandson, he melted down when I went to the head, he's Pop Pop's buddy! Had to take him home in our vehicle and stay until he got in the bathtub. He's 17 months old, loves to ride the tractor and the trailer with the seat and safety belt I made for the boys. If you gotta old at least being a grandpa makes it special!

79 and a bit "humid" here. By humid, I mean that the air is so thick, I had to cut my way to the barn to feed horses this morning with a machete.

It's 80 F at 8 AM here this morning. It was 75 F at 6:30 when I got up, but has already jumped up 5 degrees under heavily clouded skies. I'm gonna try to get my yard mowed this morning, but can't start until my wife wakes up (probably around 9 AM). I'll go to the garden for awhile to see if anything there needs attention.

good morning we have rain shower and 60 with the humidity going up today with a chance of afternoon shower.it will get to 76 today.Got the yard all trimmed and looking good.

More of those little chores to do today. Yesterday couldn't get the older lawn tractor started, had to get a new battery and spark plug, once installed she fired right up.

I hear ya! I pushed the mower around the lawn this morning. Not a leaf moving, the air was so still, but the humidity made that chore more of a ......CHORE. Glad that it is done for another week. I'll try to begin weedeating the lawn, by 0630 tomorrow morning. By 10, it's time to try to migrate indoors, when possible.

Yes I am, she worked her butt off to get it too. When she was done high school, she went to college for Early Childhood Education but did not finish because she got pregnant with my first grandchild. She got a job in the automotive factory where I work but when the bottom fell out in late 2008, she went back to school and became a Nurse. Don't know how she did it with full time school, full time mother and working a job to pay the bills in between. Proud of what she has accomplished.

06-15-2013 Currently 83 degrees. I just found out that some homes are still without power in out County after those storms rolled through. We were lucky, we were only without power for almost 12 hours. One of our neighbors and myself took several bags of ice and coolers to some Families earlier. We all help each other in need.

OK - Funny you would ask this...LOL...Normally I am up by 0500 and no later than 0530 but for some reason this morning I slept in and my Mrs. got up at the normal time and did not wake as she got out of bed...so at about 0615 I hear...." Are you all right ? " Scared the heck out of me...I was dreaming I thought...turns out it was my Mrs. thinking I was....well you know...:laughing: I do feel really good today...must have needed the extra sleep...nice dream too...until the Mrs. scared me....

Woke up at 5:30 took dogs out, showered, fed the dogs, took out garbage, wife's coffee ready out the door by seven to take my daughter to her softball games ( team split) home by 1:30 after picking up the wife a dunkin donuts coffee, then made regular and turkey meatballs and prepped ribs for dinner tonight.4 pm now and just sat down thinking I should go cut the grass. More softball tomorrow! I need some good sleep.

As soon as her pardon goes through (from that stent in NJ) she can come back to the State with all the rights and privileges of a Native Texan. The biggest privilege, of course is she can proudly display the Native Texan bumper sticker! Of course, as the husband, you can tag along. By her coming home you can go from one season to three and get reacquainted to the beautiful snakes!

Good morning! At 79˚ before sunrise this is the warmest morning of the year! This month my water bill will be higher than my electric bill but I can see green. Hmm.... I have to loose green to get green....isn't there some kind of physics law about things equaling out....
