wow 59 degrees this morning got low to mid 80's for next 7 days. seems like it's been a long time comming but glad it's here. everyone have a great day and be safe.

Had a chimney fire call last night, but no fire, thankfully.

The district forester is coming this morning to take a look and give me some ideas, and feedback on my ideas. I hope she won't be offended when I ask her the best way to get rid of 15-20 acres of trees in order to start creating some pasture. :laughing: She's good people, I am not worried.

Poured first cup of coffee. 61° with clears skies this morning. Heading to 74° with sun all day with sun all day. Going to do some tourist stuff to day. Should be a good day for it.

Right now it is 32 degrees and I actually started a fire in the wood stove this morning. Only heat we have in the house and it is nice to feel the warmth.
Expecting the temp to go up in the 60’s today with a chance of showers later this afternoon.
Got the parts in to fix my Howard Rotavator yesterday so that is the project for this morning

Wicked storms came through yesterday. Tornadoes came through within 30 miles of me, doing lots of damage. I was lucky, all I had was nickel sized hail. 17 miles to the west of me, had grapefruit sized hail. Only good news, I got some rain. I have a leaking window, and will see how things look on the rest of the property, when the sun comes up.

Until then, all one can do is drink coffee and wait.

45 degrees right now and heading into the high 70’s today. Got the tiller almost all put together yesterday one more task and that will be done.
Lots of little things to do and then we are taking off to go to camp for the rest of this week into the middle of next week

Thanks, daugen! I'm hoping the others on TBN, that live in the storm's path are OK today. It appears the line is east and southeast of Dallas now. I hope with the daytime heating, they don't fire up into more severe conditions again.

well 60 degrees this morning i sat on my porch and drank coffee this morning first time this year. hope all you guys and gals in texas are all right today. didn't see any weather report yesterday read farmgirl's post.we had some major wind here yesterday but it got upto 82 degrees. everyone have a great day.

I felt very lucky, as others on TBN, that live within a county or two of me, were keeping up with the weather and checking on all of us in the area of the storms. So nice to have friends!
