Ron, I'm glad to hear that your trip was safe and you've been able to be with your mom. I know how much she means to you and you to her. I hope she improves and gets back to her normal routine. We will miss you and Betty this April, but this is far more important.
It's 45 F here this morning and going up to the high 60s, maybe 70s by this afternoon. I'll be watering my grass seed to keep it damp while germinating.

Lots of rain over night and for today, we have a rainfall warning up for our area, calls for 2-4 inches by the end of the day. Fairly mild at 10C/50F. The swelling on my nose is starting to go down but it does look like heck.

Wish you luck resolving the mortgage issue.
We found that dealing with small local bank produces better results than dealing with a big bank. When we built our house we couldn't get money because I wanted to be my own general contractor. Small local bank (after talking to us) had no issue with it at all. When I wanted to finance my solar system we went directly to another small local bank. The guy drove to our place on his way home to check it out and called next day that he liked our place and that we get the loan. It took two weeks and we had the money in hand. In fact they gave us cash. I could have bought a Porsche instead of the PV stuff. I mean used one.

Just returned from dropping wife at airport - her trip of a lifetime to Japan. So for next 3 weeks just me and the dogs (and projects)
Almost seems the opposite of some of the TBM member struggles, but we keep you all in are prayers and hope for the best.

Warmth plus rain snow did some good melting,ice brooks free causing ice jams here and there...looks like dozen or more good fishing holes this year.

37 degrees right now and like most we lost a bit of snow yesterday and last night!
Went to the town meeting last night, annual event everything past, taxes going up spending going up, life is good.
Town of less than 3000 and we have four full time police and who knows how many part-timers, but crime is down!
Have a good one off to clean the shotgun and ready the flyrod.

Good morning 26 degrees only going to be 38 today. the local weather people will start streaching the truth a little begining today. got the corn burning mafia comming to bristol this weekend.[nascar] in case you didn't know. hope everyone has a good day gotta put up with old man winter another week looks like.
