good to sit down, hot and sweaty
got a lot done
changed the garden mess in left pic to new plantings from left to right
green peppers (which I had to transplant from somewhere else), watermelon and various squashes

then dropped off lettuce at Ken's and Popgadgets'.
Home to water everything with a solution of Miracle Grow
some green cabbage that was really bug chomped is starting to bolt, need to pick it
and do something with it.

seems like an awful big sand mound, wonder what it is sized for.

Buppies, my wife really enjoyed talking with your wife. Thanks again for coming up.
Lot of dust today on the campground road. All showered and shaved.
Talked to dad as my brother was leaving. Have been looking for new mower anyways, hope it’s not the tractor PTO clutch. Told dad I’ll be over sometime next week, will do serious mower shopping now.

67°F and .54 inches rain

Need to finish putting Scag back together, check oil etc and if if drys a bit a short test run.

I think I have a couple 4 inch 12vdc fans suitable for my tractor test mod to cool the ECU. Need to figure how to support and as it’s just a test most likely directly power from battery, but at least look for a keyed circuit I can tap. If God approves maybe I’ll get dried out enough to test at least an hour

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
The ECU can usually be reset by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. If overheating it can be from internal excessive heat being generated. Check with heat IR gun to see what you get. The sensors feeding into he ECU can be faulty . Live stream diagnostic test can help isolate the problem

Good Afternoon,
Fuddy, wow what great news ! You just joined the greatest club !! Super news !

and to be honest I haven’t paid much attention to when working
David, is there any chance that water pump bearings are intermittently seizing up and creating the belt squealing ? Or possibly the pump. Is going bad contributing to the over heating condition?

Nice day on the lake today, actually a top 10 day ! We are going down to Dorset for dinner, The Barrows Inn ! Should be a nice evening!

Nice to hear BEF and Buppies getting together!

Hope all have a good evening! 🙏

. Need to "harden" the house from chewing, like floor extension cords, etc.

This is from a professional breeder who exposes the pup to a variety of stimuli such as wildlife, hunting, gunfire, and so on. New experience for us.
All part of exposure and stimulus to a variety of things.

Zoe’s breeder did the same thing, we were required to watch tbe “Puppy Culture” DVD’s.
Fortunately, at a a year and a half old, she hasn’t chewed anything. She has a very “soft” mouth and will steal things like shoes, but when you find them they are unscathed. Usually she just takes them downstairs and leaves them in the living room.
When she first met the concrete contractor, he was sitting on the tailgate of his truck, changing into his work boots. She promptly brought one of his sneakers into the house…..

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.0C and it's presently warmed up to 0.7C with a predicted High of 13C. It's clear and calm. Penelope the Pussybeast is curled up in front of the woodheater.

I'm off to Church in a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

Seems like the LS ECU fails. There is a thread on TBN discussing this

Was a nice bluegrass show in Floyd VA. Back late though. I’ve been following this kid playing banjo a few yrs now. He was mentored by Bobby Osborne. They have a lot of original tunes.

Good evening all. 69ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, overcast with showers in area, trace rain in gauge after ride, clearing in afternoon, high temp was 83ºF. Made coffee to start day, got ready for rice and headed out. 62 miles 14.5 mph average. Saw rain around us but only occasional drizzle encountered. New clock movement showed up got it installed, was able to use old hands :). Got new battery in wireless bike speedo pickup, put that battery in speedo display, now easier to read display. Need to get chain cleaned and lubed for trip.
Buppies good evening, hope all is as well as can be. prayers sent
Ron hope new stop worked well on mowing deck. Glad shop cleaned up and BBQ on list for today. Nice flowers
David good to hear Scag issue diagnosed and temp fix in place. if standard placement of ECU over heats it, it is faulty. That would explain the no error codes. Since tractor did not stall with no load, that could point finger at heat problem. If fan helps than ask factory why fan helps of cures problem.
Drew hope veggie garden work went well. Glad good dinner with friend. ECU on scag maybe faulty and heat brings out fault, if true will only get worse.
Thomas hop day went well.
Bill hope garlic spray worked. Hope blades are now sharp.
Drew hope you can avoid the traffic.
Billy I did not get logged in if that's what you mean :( Sorry about the speaker wire, wonder if Della get a mild shock. Glad you got a great hike in.
Billy neat pics
Drew I was on the bike at 11:25 CDT.
Don glad floors redone, sorry about leak at "old" house. Good to hear buyers wanted one desk, one to go.
Mike hope the horses like their new shoes :) Good luck with weed control and no koi in pond. Hope you get pool going :)
Ken Good to hear garage door working correctly now. Hope the weed whacking and mirror work went well. Interesting that fawn would include noisy tractor on play with list. Nice pics
Scott(vt) hope boating was fun.
Plowhog good luck finding everything puppy will chew on.
Fuddy congratulations!!
Dennis that's 2 votes ECU going bad :), Glad you and Buppies got to have breakfast together.
David hope it dried enough for test. Good luck installing fan for ECU test.
RS Glad trip to accountant went well. Hope today was productive for you.
Ken nice you have 2 extra planks, hope they turn out ok.
Dennis hope you can work out why blades stall.
David will be interesting to see if new belt helps stalling.
Drew good to hear garden coming along. Nice pics
Buppies great to hear such a good morning. Glad you got to play with diesel.
Frits good info for David
Scott(vt) my money is on bad components in ECU at this point. If engine was running hot I would think David and/or tech would have noticed by now.
Paul and dogs like to play keep away :)
Randy(wag) sounds like nice morning, hope church was good.
Frits sorry to hear abut poor quality of the ECU.
Dennis glad good concert.

Scotty, don’t think so, at least not seen on temp guage. New belt rides a bit higher in pulley. Will do the heat gun, but also looking to get some sort of recording temp meter.

Didn’t get to fan option today. A bit rain hampered. We did fashion a plastic baffle to place between ECU and radiator. Was going to do a test run during a rain break. Unfortunately didn’t happen as tractor went into 1400 rpm limp mode before I got to mow area. While I could decrease rpm, couldn’t increase with the hand throttle. Makes me wonder if perhaps ECU is toast already.

Makani’s weakness is the doggie pillows. If he can’t drag it throw the doggie door he will do it piecemeal, pulling out the stuffing.
Most of the time we remember to lock away in the crate, but the other day we forgot. Only does when we are gone. Don’t know how to break him. Other than some chew on one of my slippers can think of anything else he destroys, just relocates to outside.

Coffee has been poured. 60° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 74° with cloudy skies. BBQ is ready to do some spareribs. Ribs are ready. Around 8am I will fire up BBQ and enjoy the smell of a few hours. Noticed that there are no lights on garden pond this morning. Will have to check that out when daylight. Some NASCAR in afternoon.

Good Morning All.

Morning all!
49 going to a beautiful lower 80's with almost no humidity!
Friday went well! Got the little Kioti running and spread about 6 yards of loam around my sister's yard. Grabbed my gas string trimmer and cleaned up the edges of her yard for about an hour. After that came home and cleaned the deck and driveway of about 3 lbs. of maple ears! Tis the season! This will be my daily job for a week or so.
Got my fields mowed also.
Yesterday I went to my other sisters and figured out how to make new corner boards for the house. Can't match the old ones so we designed something new. Now that we have it made she can buy more lumber and I will make three more to match everything up. Didn't have enough paint to start the deck rail project so the wife and I decided to vacuum up the vehicles. I will wash and wax them this morning while it is still cool out. We went to the hardware store for a gallon of paint and while there purchased 3 tons of pellets they will deliver in a week or so. Ouch on the credit card this month!
Tried to start a project in the wood shop but the drill press decided to jam a piece out of my clamps and throw it into my chest! Figured that was enough for one day! Lol!
That's ok. It's too nice outside to be indoors!
After the vehicles are done wife and I will sit outside and enjoy the day. No visitors expected so will be quiet and relaxing.
Will grab pics of the last two projects and post here later today.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

good morning all
should be a quiet cloudy day here, high around 80.

Fuddy, congrats!

Mostly, glad your speedo now works. Do you have gps speed also?

Phil, drill press sending you a message, go get some sun! glad you are ok
funny, I thought of you when I bit into the last of my awful radishes yesterday before I cleaned
out the garden. When I bit down into something that nicely could be called woody, and promptly spit it out
I thought of Phil and that maybe he could turn these radishes, make something out of them......... ;)

Ron, have fun barbecuing.
David, since LS makes tractors for New Holland, maybe there is better ECU availability there
looks like a place in Texas fixes them
