Heh heh... Unfortunately around here by the buildings. ..I just can't do that. But out in the fields. ..different story. I think they figured it out and just move closer to the houses now.

Point blank range, right above it as it came out of hole. Used an old single shot 22. Had to use hoe to pull it out.

Lots of deer and turkeys walking around the yard this morning. I was watching two yearling does "resting" in the backyard when the sprinklers turned on for that zone. I swear they both jumped 6 ft in the air.

Good day today...Kindling wheel in basement and stack everything clean up ready for old man winter chilly breath...and project check off the list :dance1: trim mow the main lawn than sharpen the blades...darn rock feet up than dinner might even take Mrs. for slow country ride couple hours before dark.than kick back on the deck enjoy ooohh so smooth cigar.

Congratulations on a successful potato harvest Drew!
This evening Whipper went spelunking.
We found the entrance to the cave on a remote neighbor trail. I will have to find out the story behind it. Next to that cave was the “Smoke Signal Cave”.

74 still out. Forecast for 86 today. Guess our cool spell is over. Marginal risk for severe weather.
Drew nice harvest. Now check on fire ant lady and rest for a few days.
Got a couple more hours in on current project. I’m in the middle of building a hay hauler. Took a 5 ton 4-wheel wagon frame and put new tires on it. Then added 8”c-channel. Now I’ve cut down some old pallet racking and am welding those onto the c-channel to make bale cradles. I’ll have 3 cradles each capable of holding 2 bales. Hay moving season will be a little longer this year but I’ll keep the highway vehicles out of the fields and I won’t have to barrow anything to do it. Maybe I can stop putting axles back under goosenecks.
