88 degrees and continuing dry weather, very nice day.
Watered plants and trees for six hours today, got everything put away, now in to relax and pack for trip.
Kyle, I'm amazed how you figure out how to fix what you do. You are fearless!
David/Sodamo, over my pay grade but rooting for you.

Good evening all. 69F this morning, overcast, light wind. Windy today gusts to 25 mph, some clearing in the afternoon, humidity on the rise and high temp of 88F. Neb's meeting this morning then bike ride on the Trek (taking it to Katy trail ride). Waiting to here if dealer can get the car they found yesterday, checked on Costco car buying pricing close to what I am being quoted from local dealer.
RNG thanks for the link, wondered about the soundtrack verses her movement.
I had a Husky ztr to mow with the last yr in MO house had some steep inclines, no problems to get up or down slope, as long as wheels had enough traction. no tranny issues.
Ron were you competing with Drew for busy boy award yesterday?
Kyle you might consider doing something about that shop, the 2K quote is very outragous, bad enough they use he flat rate manual when the procedure in question is well padded.
Eric I don't know what to tell you, except when wife wants to go along she is more worried about I don't scrimp :D
PJ and Buckeye good luck finding mower that fits.
Thomas wonder if having the kits around will affect your other wildlife as they grow.
Drew have a nice trip north.
prayers for all.

Kyle, it's amazing how service providers will try to prey on the elderly and handicapped. I had a plumber try to do that with my mother. He lived 2 doors down from her. Finally called the company he worked for. He did job for free. Instead of asking the correct price of $100. He wanted $350.

My mom knows to call me every time she needs something done to her car. I left bad review and 1 star on Google Maps so far.

It looks like 30° for the iow this morning. It started snowing in the afternoon yesterday and it's still snowing this morning. Quite a bit of it has melted. I'm thinking that we have gotten 10+ inches. The forecast is calling for more showers today with a high in the low 40's and the wind picking up15-20 mph. I'm thinking that somehow I missed spring and summer.

Didn't much of anything yesterday. I'll have to do some shoveling this morning. But I'm not going to get to ambitious about moving the rest of it.

Hope everyone has better hump day then I'm going to have.
CWB.

Beautiful picture, but sorry for your extended winter woes. Home next door is still available. :) I could sure enjoy a nice neighbor like yourself. I will let you drive the bigger tractor if you want. And, it comes with free fishing in my pond. You won't have to shovel any snow. With all my hens, I should have extra fresh eggs available in 2 more months.

5 little helpers also stands guard day and night, when mom and dad away they can be assuming to watch, one of 5 kits thief he/she take about anything...t shirt gloves tools etc..

Fun to watch. Just keep 'em away from my chickens.

Time to cry “uncle”
My hydraulic pipe pusher worked quite well - until it hit something very solid. Then I afraid I might bend the cylinder rod itself. In a bit short of 5 feet. Pulled it out and the evidence was overwhelming as to the rocks judging by the scars on the pvc. Figure I’d have to go at least 6 inches lower, but would still worry that it could wander. Working space a tad tight.

So, in the morning, it’s off to HD to rent their walk behind concrete cutting saw. Plan is to cut wide enough for a brick - 41/4”. Remove the concrete pieces with my subsoiler. Dig out enough for pvc chase, back fill then cover with brick after it’s settled. Wife is convinced it’s gonna look nice.

Have to say, it has been a good learning experience.

After all that, nobody can accuse you of being a quitter, David. But since you're renting the saw anyway, you could use it to cut a little window, brick wide, where you think the water drill is being stopped, and verify that it is indeed a rock or other obstruction that's in the way. If that's the case, perhaps a spud bar, a mattoc, or a pick could be used to break it up, and the water drilling resumed. The hole could be patched with a brick, or just fill it with concrete...

Coffee is done brewing. 59° with thunderstorms this morning. Heading to 74° with thunderstorm until noon. Got lawn cut yesterday. But it was late. 6 pm. Rain did not want to stop. Got a call from my aunt. Needed some help with her lawn mower. Got here fixed up. Fixed a barn door that had run off it's track. Made a stop so it could not happen again. Off to Lowes this morning for some Mulch. Use trimmer around lawn and put some week killer down in afternoon.

Mostly, no way to catch up with Drew. But I seem to have crossed that line where I do not feel like doing anything in afternoon.

Drew, Safe travels.

David, sorry the hydraulics plan ran into a rock. New plan sounds good.

RNG, good luck with solar quote. Since your talk about Track SS. It seems like all I see is SS with tracks.

CWB, too much snow. Please close the door and all windows.

Thomas, Great pup picture.

Good Morning All.
