More snow for Bill, amazing. 30mph gusts, now that must be a nice snowstorm which hopefully is Mother Nature's
way of saying she is leaving but she will be Baaaacccckkkkkk this Fall.
When you get into town Bill, any favorite spots you like to visit, like a hardware store?
I live in a very small city about 10,000 people, spread out too, so not a lot of downtown
shopping choices. And you can only get your hair cut so often...which I actually intend to do this morning if he's open.
Normally barbers seem to close on Mondays, but some don't.
Might be my last trip to him, he is selling the building which was a converted row home. One wall tilts down, floor ripples and dives,
I'd say he is going to have a challenge unless it's a tear down for a medical complex. That means the beauty parlor next door would likely go too.
So if a woman goes to the "beauty parlor", what a funny name, where do men go for gossip other than barber shop? Some store where you know
the owner perhaps. Anyone have a favorite?
Rich, thanks. I guess I'd better get to the barber this week...
This family is my young fireman next door's Uncle, I have met them once,
she seems all over the place and her husband very nice. And then his brother and wife and this nurse are coming.
I'll likely never remember anyone's name...
Guess I should take my truck over there, keep the Audi in the garage.
These folks are 100 year locals...and they've been bred on evaluating the Occupiers
and The Northerners for a long time. So I will avoid politics and religion like the plague.
Let's talk about fertilizer...
But first today I start mowing and mowing and mowing.
Really need to pace myself and only do half in one day.
I'm not as young or tough as Rick, and my body can't cash those checks the enthusiasm is writing.
Catches up with me later.
Though running the larger tractor yesterday with the a/c on, a very quiet cab reminiscent of a diesel 3/4 ton pickup was
sure easy and fun on me, could do that for a while..., with those earphones which tuned
out the steady state noise of the motor by some form of electronic feedback,
don't know how that works on ear, but it does.
And my ear was improving again this morning, almost don't want to jinx myself saying that.
When I mow, those headphones going on.
70 degrees and temps are headed down all day into the night down to a chilly 42 here tomorrow morning.
Who left the door open?
then back to warm weather again.
Rained enough last night to wash pollen, should be a great day to mow lawn.
And nice weather all week.
