RNG, hope you figure something out. Counterbore for a seal possibly? If the shaft is hard, it might be difficult to put an oring groove in it. Not sure if you have the real estate for the counterbore....Maybe go sit by that beautiful waterfall with a nice drink and ponder it.....decompression.

I just read the indictment listing the charges against the rich parents who bought access to top name colleges through bribes, often without
their kids even knowing it was going on.
The end does not justify the means and these parents are now facing serious federal charges, huge fines and imprisonment for this fraud.
25 million bucks paid in bribes between 2011 and 2018.
I'd like to see these crooks explain to their kids why they thought dishonesty was the best policy.

The Beemer kids only wish that they were driving Porsches like their more entitled peers.

It saddens me how so many "entitled" parents pass on directly and/or indirectly their entitlements to their offspring deserving or not. Social/societal values do not apply; all that matters to these ilk is the show and blow, power and control, and scamming anyone and everyone to make another $.

Good evening all. 54F to start, overcast, trace precip in rain gauge, light wind. Moderate wind today, overcast stayed, when wind stopped got foggy and some light rain through the day, high temp of 60F. Bike ride this morning, crank came lose and drizzle shortened ride to 15 mile. Wife hired guy to remove wall from front porch, turns out builder used portland cement and not mortar, the job has been very ugly. Dentist and grocery shopping this afternoon, and a real nap today :thumbsup:

I hear about the college entrance bribing, just can't wrap my head around it.
USPS have their issues here too. Most folks will redeliver to correct the problem.

There is probably room on the outside of the case for a lip seal, but there's so much fundamentally wrong with the design that I don't want it anywhere near the transaxle. I have a meeting with the ex-mechanic on Thursday where I hope to trade this thing for a stock output housing. Then I can use it as a core to purchase a decoupler whth more robust parts inside. I also hope to come away with the rest of the parts that are still over there, and "officially" put an end to any future plans or arrangements with him.

I can do contemplation, but if I had a drink at the bottom of that canyon, I'd never make it back out of there. What a way to go, though!:laughing:

Good morning. March is still roaring, it keeps gusting over 50 and we are told that will continue all week. Must be my fault for saying I was about to put up more guttering.

Thanks to everyone putting up snow pics, some weather can be both trouble and beautiful at the same time. Not much beauty in our weather at the moment, tomorrow I need to wear eye protection while putting out feed as this morning it felt like my eyeballs were being shot blasted by the dust from the hay.


I missed out on TBN yesterday taking my wife to hospitals. The verdict was that she is making a good recovery, although the physiological trauma of my cooking may take longer to overcome
