PopGadget- 2 of my first apps I wrote back in the days of basic was a floppy disk data editor and a resonance calculator. I bet the SW to do the initial layout is a bit more sophisticated now, and nothing like a good spectrum analyzer.

It’s interesting that the software gets close, but subtle things like phase shift between the outputs are best dealt with by actual listening and tweaking.

Good Morning.
It’s grey outside, with a high overcast that will lower as the rain comes.

Yesterday was a combination of shop work heat pump repair, and grounds maintenance. Heat pump is back on line, it was the coil temp sensor, not the controller. Now it reads correctly. Made good progress in the shop in between chores.

Wife just left for Agway to get shavings and feed, after I get that unloaded into the barn, I’ll be back in the shop getting these speakers finished, two of them should be ready today.

Thomas, just leaves some cans of cranberry sauce out, maybe they will take the hint...
guard turkeys :)

just brought in slide for rv, crummy weather coming, ordered 5 pound propane tank with adapter cord for
small barbecue, don't want to deal with one pound bottles any more. Need to mount it securely in rv, plus I ordered a box
of ten rubber/plastic tank outlet covers, guess all my tanks will get one, plus some to give away. Price for ten was almost the same as price for two...
keeps the mud daubers and spiders out.

Good morning, at the dealer this morning for charge cooler leak repair
Got 23.6 mpg on 75 miles driving up this morning and at 65 to 70 miles per hour not bad for high roof long wheelbase sprinter
Fancy showroom and expensive cars
This one is 115 000 dollars

m7040 AMG was started by two gentlemen who had a passion for fast cars. They modified Mercedes into well handling extremely fast cars. The 5.5 litre is one of the durable fast motors out there. If you look them up I think you will be impressed.

Mercedes ultimately bought them out. Think of this a 6000 plus pound car 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds that gets 25.6 MPG

I climbed up to have a snack on these boulders...didn't hear a sound for a while (except a few crickets in my ears). It's hard to ever finding a totally quiet place outside. Then a high flying commercial airliner flew over, providing my prompt to get back on the trail.View attachment 787709

Thought you was going to say you heard a rattlesnake. They might be out sunning themselves.

Good morning 22 degrees or so, and staying below freezing all day, which is good because I have to blow snow in front of the barn doors so I can get the trailer out and over to where my new pile of oak is. Just have to put my old left front tire on since the current one died. (I will be ordering new front tires/wheels for both sides since it is probably about time anyway. And to my surprise, they will only be $130 (about $100 US) each, for tire on rim!

The Big Smoke is supposed to be getting hit right now, complete with a winter weather advisory, but it looks like they will only get 4” or so. (Nothing much up here until mid-afternoon.)

Today is firewood collecting day. Have a great day everybody’

Good morning! Low of 26°, heading for 65°, partly cloudy.
Changes this afternoon as a front approaches beginning with.... yep.... more wind. Advisories posted already. Gusts possible to 45mph. Maybe a sprinkle, but only a 20% chance....

The weather guessers are 'pre-warning' about changes coming next week.... cooler temps, greater potential for rain and snow. Supposedly the start of a more active weather pattern.

Piddled a bit yesterday, but not much. Estimated how much it will cost to build a few more of the wood / metal large planter boxes. I didn't think the price was too bad ---
$345 for four 3x3x2' high and one 3x8x2' high. Wifey didn't like the price....not much can be done about it though.....

No buds popping on the outside plants, but the ones in the greenhouse are liking the temps in there. Yesterday the greenhouse hit 85°.... no wonder.

Need to call and get some prices for some more gravel. I hope that I won't get mad at myself for delaying (procrastinating more like it) getting it 6 months ago..... it's just so darn expensive......

Need to call the sawmill where I get the rough sawn boards for my furniture projects. I only have little pieces left. They usually have 'drops' that are up to 6' long, left over from custom orders. Usually less than half of the normal price. I am hoping that I won't be shocked at the current prices......

We have been wondering why there aren't as many birds decimating the feeders like years past.... apparently the new neighbors have 2 outdoor cats...Big orange tabbys. They like to explore our pond / courtyard area. Hopefully the bird's desire for food and water will overcome the fear of the cats. I don't mind them for the rodent control.

Everyone have a great day!

Thomas, "41 turkeys running flying gobbling, have feeling just a matter time BIG Tom's going to get jealous of female turkeys hanging around me and challenge me."

As fast as you can say this 5 times, 'I'm not the turkey plucker, I'm the turkey pluckers' son, but I will pluck the turkeys until the turkey plucker comes.'
:ROFLMAO:

Income tax paperwork all organised and I'll send it off in the mail when I go to town. I made more than I should have and that might come back to bite me in the but with one of the goobermint pensions.
We'll see.

I am tossing around the idea of starting a new company. A frozen precipitation relocation service, commonly called a snow plowing company. My company will rent my tractor and me and will reap the benefits of the driveways I now plow. It will also take the hit on expenses against the tractor. The company will take the hit for the cell phone bill AND the fuel, electricity (block heater) and insurance. I am thinking that $50.oo/hour is a good rate for it.

'morning. 30 degrees here now. We got about 4" of heavy, wet stuff. I'm glad I put the snow pusher back on the Deere. Worked good, and didn't tear the gravel up too bad (not frozen). supposed to get more on Saturday afternoon.

36F with light rain @ 14:15, only calling for a high of 38F for the day. Currently under a Winter Weather Advisory, might see some of that white stuff.

Got shelf board sanded and 3rd coat of poly put on yesterday afternoon. Will need to fire up the torpedo heater here in a few and hit it again with the sander and get the 4th coat put on.

Woman shared half of Her Chicken Pot Pie with me, also made a batch of Salisbury Hamburger Helper because She figured I'd be getting hungry later (and She was right ... :giggle: )

Extra JVC (CRT) TV moved out of living room back to the second bedroom (finally !)

Design largely completed on router table:

And woodworking bench:

Backside view with drawers and some trim not shown, so the interior is visible:

Still need to make up a cut list for the bench and get it entered into Cut List Optimizer. Email for registering CLO came in yesterday but went to junk mail folder so I missed it.

Also need to get some measurements on the face vise and check the clearances for mounting.

Amazon just dropped off the sanding mice/pads.

Agenda for rest of today:

Refill hopper and deer feeders.

Sanding/poly application on shelf.

Fish Room maintenance.

Possibly a haircut later.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday ... (y)
