50 outside this AM, raining. Heading to mid 60's. Don't need the water.

Did some running around yesterday. Life stuff. Got beer, cashier left my chocolate chip cookies in a bag somewhere. Called store, yup we have them. Told them hold on till today since it takes an hour out of my day running back up there. Sheesh.... Only reason I used human, was to get discounts.

More running around this AM, weather or not, I have to get rid of a lot of construction remains.

Hope all have a great start to the weekend. Be safe, get or stay healthy.

"Load limit during mud season?"
Highway department usually post road limit around changing clock forward an hour, but this year highway department pull surprise caught many owners with heavy equipment off guard.

"Lake record is over 13 pounds."
What species?

61, been dropping all morning as the rain arrived...steadily falling to 27 tonight.

Mostly, sounds like a good presentation on fish...and sounds like things are going well already if your lake produced a 13 pounder (assuming largemouth).

Looked at game cam pix last night...5 different skunks using the same old fox den...caught them "making new skunks" on the candid camera outside the den...maybe I should have done some population control. I need PJ for his fearless covering the cage and carrying them off. I have used a different method that delights the vultures. "But they are so cute." We saw (smelled, too) 7 dead skunks on the road during the trip home from Harper's Ferry. Mating season has its risks.

Almost out of hay (2 bales left)! Going price around here is $115 delivered - if you can find any! Same with fertilizer.
My mom just sold her hay to a relative for $90 a bale undelivered. Do you know how much the delivery charge is. I was told the undelivered price was $100. It is up from the $70 last year because of the lack of rain last year there was only 1.5 cuttings as opposed to the average 3 cuttings.

Good morning! 32˚F heading to the 50s, partly cloudy North wind.

My Father-In-Law bought some last week from a guy about 5 miles away. I think it was about $100/bale and $115 delivered. Not sure if this person still has any. But, he is not a "big" hay operator. I intend on calling him but haven't gotten around to it.

Morning all;
More strange weather for February here for use, it was still in the 50's this morning,
then we had quite a thunderstorm roll through dumped quite a bit of rain in about 30 minutes.
It has moved on towards the East Northeast now.
I don't ever recall a winter as mild as this one has been.
Of course now the forecast is getting to the upper 50's this morning then dropping for a forecast low of 15.
Quite a merry go round, rough on the animals mud wet warm then abruptly going cold.
Everyone get well and stay healthy.

Good morning.
It’s grey and wet outside this morning. Drizzle started yesterday afternoon. Davis says .2” so far, the Tempest shows a bit less.

Yesterday I did a little graphic work, recreating the Schweizer aircraft logo for a friend restoring a glider. I stopped by his shop after pulling the wheel off the little plane to fix the flat. Figured I’d repack the wheel bearings while it was off.
It’s always fun to see what projects he has going on, he does a lot of antique restoration, lots of wood, dope and fabric, as well as aluminum. Amazing skills and talent in that shop.

Apple is filming a series directed by Ridley Scott just down the road from me, closing the road. I got a notice that they plan to blow up a building. I was told that they wanted to burn the old farmhouse, but it was going to be a problem due to lead and asbestos, so they built “sacrificial” additions to destroy. Didn’t realize that burn meant explode!
A friend lives next to the set, and got paid handsomely for allowing them to put down temporary plastic planking for a road and parking to access the filming location.
The green arrow is pointing at the addition, I took this picture months ago from the little airplane.

And of course the road that is now closed is on Drew’s route to pick up his motorhome. I gave him a heads up this morning.

Sounds like a trip to Costco is planned for today, I got an access point setup to install in the barn, and need to figure out what to put in the crockpot for the boys this evening’s musical gathering.

Morning, going up to 60 today and more rain.
Some wild wind gusts this morning, for about an hour, and completely calm now.

Orange cat was limping on front cam this morning, hope it's ok, not sure where it lives. See it come through a few times a week as well as a black cat who recently showed up on video.

Drew have fun driving new home on wheels, Hoping the wind stays calm for you.

Be well,
