Good trip to town. Sophie got a prescription for osteoporosis as a result of last bone density test, otherwise a good visit.

Otherwise successful in other errands. Lunch at Panda Express and then ice cream at Baskin Robbins after errands. Even brought home McNuggets for the fur kids. Even got a refill keg at the brewery, Sophie said she would lift for me instead of waiting until next week. Gotta love that woman. Volcano Red Ale instead of porter.

42°F and thunder storms this morning, with steadily dropping temperature all day. 35° now, going down into the mid-20s overnight. Left work this afternoon to some flurries, and ran through another small squall about halfway home. Back up to the 50s for the weekend, and mid-60s by next Wednesday.

Thanks for all the kind comments about Evey. It's much appreciated. She is a special one for us, especially for The Wife. Her prize student. She'll leave us with 14 years of great memories.

Good evening all. 36ºF for the start, partly cloudy windy. Windy day again, Partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 42ºF. Putter in morning after starting fire in insert. After lunch went out and cut up neighbor's downed limbs. Filled up wheel barrow, left the cut wood needing splitting for later because Wheel barrow so full. Fish club meeting, had the guy who does lake fish survey and is biologist tslk sbout what we should do to lake to encourage fish growth and health. Lake record is over 13 pounds.
Drew hope school board went well. Hope you get tires sorted out on RV. Hope the fencing keep undesired critters out.
Bill hope day was productive.

Good morning, the low temp is 12 and going to a high of 16°F. Wind NNE 9 gusting to 12 mph. Light snow. The forecast last night was for 4" and we go that.

I will go out and plow about noon today.

The neighbour lady that trades food for plowing made pizza last night. Way better than store bought in a cardboard box and way better than a store makes, too.

I have been following the Murdaugh trial in South Carolina on you tube, what a piece of work he was.

I think I will putz around on the net until noon then plow.

Coffee is brewing. 19° with light snow this morning. Heading to 25° with partly cloudy skies. Meeting with Financial Guy went well. Finally got the information we wanted. Picked up more limbs. Overnight got freezing rain. Everything is coated with 1/2" of ice. Then 1/2" of snow. Going to be a inside day. Except for putting down some Ice Melt on walkways to shop. Normally see cars on the road this time of day. Not a single one has driven by yet today.
Keep your eyes on the road.

good morning all. Warm morning, 54 out going to 60 in rainy weather this morning. Dropping all the way to 25 tonight.
Hopefully rain will stop by this afternoon when i bring motorhome home, though it will be windy.
my little snowdrops are only in their first year, not as nice as pics shown. Need a few years to "grow up".

have my bag packed with a lunch and a rv chartplotter, though only big roads coming home, Rt 78, 309, etc.
need to go put car in front lawn temporarily so driveway will be clear when I get back. Not good timing with trash cans....they are
additional obstacles at end of lane, and I bet the trash guys will leave them right in middle of driveway, forcing me to get out and move them first.
Just going to take my time and leave the four ways on.

Good morning to all. Back down in the 30's this morning, mid 50's today. Supposed to be 80 by Monday? Making advance plans to fertilize the hay field next month if the weather stays warm. Almost out of hay (2 bales left)! Going price around here is $115 delivered - if you can find any! Same with fertilizer.

Today: work for da'man, pay bills, look at taxes, the usual grind. But, it is Friday!

Morning all! Currently 45 with yesterday and today in the high 50's.
Much better than a few years ago which facebook reminded me yesterday:

Wife and I are doing fine. Her voice is getting stronger and my hand is improved with the brace and exercises. Hopefully will put off an operation for a few more years.
Worked outside yesterday getting some of the flower beds cleaned up from the winter mess. Picked up branches and put the sod back where it goes from plow damage. Sure is great to be outside!
Had time in the afternoon to grab a stick off of the wood pile and practice on the lathe. Came out ok for my 2nd. bowl ever.


New garage door getting installed at the apartment house today so I get to do a lot of heavy looking! Might need a nap after watching all that work. Wife is taking the nephew to the doctors for a routine checkup in the morning them will meet me at the apartment. Maybe we can go out for lunch!
