They make a nice wall decoration.

This is the one from our Farm House in Nebraska.













This goes back to late 1940’s. It was replaced with a rotary dial phone in mid to late 1950’s.

I cleaned it up in the 1970’s but, it didn’t need restoration as it was in very good condition. It was wrapped in a blanket, in an old steamer trunk since the 50’s when it was replaced.

I have the battery somewhere in another box.

All I need to do is locate the battery and I can call the weather in every morning to Buckeye and Rick. Looks like a very popular wall decoration.

This is the only phone my dads parents ever had, and it was hooked direct over the hill to his granddads. They never had a regular phone, and they died in the 80s.

We were on a “party line” with four other farms. You could always tell if others were listening in on your call.
