Roy, glad you got the BBQ. tightening fasteners is easier than assembling.

Do you mind telling me what you got for your Woods Chipper Shredder. I am getting low ball offers. Below my $1200 low asking price. It is same as yours, but by Bear Cat with a 20hp engine instead of PTO.

I'd asked $800 and that's what I got. The chipper was jammed up tight (smoking the belts) and I thought it was a chip or chips jamming against one of the knives....so the buyer bought it as is. It turned out to be a simpler problem (a real "duhhh!" moment for me!). I paid a grand even for the Woods 5000 close to 10 years ago so an $800 asking price after all those years wasn't unreasonable.
Prices in New England tend to be higher those further south or west...even if the asking price was reasonable to me...it was probably lower then a lot of folks would have asked

Enjoy your new grill, Roy.

Oh...no doubt we will!
Wife and stepdaughter recommended getting an assembled unit...wasn't really my plan, but it was assembled when I picked it up. However, most of the fasteners weren't tightened...I'm not sure buying an assembled grill is the best way to go.
Although this weekend's weather may not be the best for out door grilling (be almost 100 degrees here), the family has all the goodies ready to grill. I'm not a big meat eater, so they got portobello mushrooms for me!

48 right now...high in the upper 70's and rain (40% probability) late.
I should have started mowing the field yesterday afternoon and I'm kicking my butt for not doing so. Next couple days are going to be wet...then a hot spell rolls in. A screw up on my part...

Another day coming of dawn to dusk pure sunshine. This is surely someone else's weather that has got lost.

I'm beginning to have strange, almost irrational thoughts, such as wouldn't it be nice to eat food cooked on a BBQ.
Is that a symptom of too much heat exposure ?

RNG, Einthewoods. thanks for the email info.

Good morning all, 64 going to 79 with a 20-70% chance of showers today. Got the mulching kit fixed and back on the mower and mowed yesterday. Wife likes the yard better when I mulch. Need to weed eat today. Don't know what else I will get into.

RNG, fire season sounds bad this year. Prayers sent.

Have a great day, prayers sent for those in need. Ed

now they say showers mid morning. Out in a few minutes to grease the mower and then have about 5 acres to mow.

Toppop, not sure. They weren't quite ready. Calico lima bean, should have brownish swirl on outside.
Supposed to be a colorful lima bean.

I wonder if the GMO ones have little popup indicators like on roasting turkeys saying I'm done now. ;)
wouldn't that be nice....
these are heritage non gmo.

My partner in the real estate part of our insurance/real estate business in my home town
absolutely adored lima beans. He would make a lima bean sandwich loaded with mayo and probably salt
and be in heaven.
I'm happy to steam them and just a little butter, salt and pepper will do. It's how I grew up eating them, so I know
that lima bean taste...wonder if these are any different.
Granted, lima beans could use a little boost in the flavor department.

Yeah. I noticed that, Roy. Trying to get the girls big stuff moved today early before the showers forecasted this afternoon. I hope it drys out enough to mow Sunday here.

Got the coax and Ethernet ran out to cottage. Buried it in 1 1/2" conduit along sidewalk. Still have to backfill in the trench and tidy up the cable but it's working. Think I'll get that done first thing before it gets put off and rained on.

All have a good day.

Thanks. Offers are starting to come at $1k. Which is what I paid for it in 2002. Probably a bad time of year to sell it. If I do not get a offer of $1200 for it I will let the add expire and relist in fall. I did repairs to it over the years that make it a better machine than when I bought it.
