Good Luck Roy!
About the reservation thing, last summer you had to pay online for a reservation to drive up Cadillac mountain in Acadia National Park. great view if the weather is nice. Nice revenue stream for the Park which I think is way underfunded.
Chris
Kinda under the weather 102 fever for both of us. Slept all day yesterday
Prayers for all
First, thanks to all of you for the best wishes and get well soon!!Prayers for your recovery, Roy. Did the angina play a role? Warning sign? Speedy recovery.
I can only imagine what it was like to lose your parents at such an early age. My Dad and his Dad both died at 80. My mother lived to be 85, but the last 10 years in a hospital, nursing home, and wheel chair were not so good.I hope Bird's wife has an extra nice Mother's Day.
All those years of putting up with him...
Delightful to spend so much time on earth with the one you love.
My mom died at age 51 when I was 21. Dad at 66. I'm now 72, grateful to make it this far and grateful
for all the help along the way.
Get your kisser ready for Mother's Day.
Sorry to hear about the stroke, but glad to hear things are getting better.Had a stroke Thursday evening. Lost the right leg (which also had limited functionality as a result of the stroke in 1999)
Most came back, including the leg, within a couple days. Still have a bit of dizziness.
I'll be using a wheeled walker for a while, and prohibited from driving until a doctor say's I'm OK to drive. Couldn't find the laws concerning driving after a stroke, but knowing Vermont, I'm sure there is.
So, I'm back catching up on the TBN forums!
My wife had 2 strokes back in 2008-2009, despite the second one putting her very close to funeral arrangements she pulled through and recovered well.<snip>
The doctors said it was a full fledged stroke, but it seems I'm recovering pretty quickly (unlike my first stroke which took months to heal...and some things never came back).
I'd call this a mini stroke, but I ain't a doctor.
