Generally it is the internal seals that have gone hard and don't seal properly allowing pressure loss. These additives soften the seals and let them work properly again.

They create less frictions anywhere there are moving parts, but the seals are indeed the biggest part of the problem. A lot of Chrysler shutter is the torque converter not locking smoothly.

41F cloudy.

Not much happing, was going to blow leaves but with heavy rains wind combo decided to wait until Saturday.

Feet up watch some youtube that's about it.

Enjoy your evening all.

Yep, pretty much my evening, once I got home from work, fed critters, fed myself, feet up.
Should get the mail in.

54F and rain @ 20:30, headed down to a low of 41F overnight.

Got the Triumph, Triumph Pastel, and Candy Stripe Duo tulips planted. Roughly 200 bulbs all told, completing the all tulip bulbs. Next up will be daffodils.

I didn't count them when I went up there to clean it up, but it looks like they delivered 8 to 10 dump trailer loads of manure total:

IMG_1448 copy.jpg

After I brought the Kubota back down to the house (barely) I used the Cub to blow leaves off on the east, west, and back sides. Didn't quite get that all done but I got the worst of it, probably 85% total.

Noticed Amazon had put the new batteries for the drill on front steps when I came inside.

That's all the good news.

The bad news is that when I was cleaning up the piles of manure (so they could dump more if they wanted to), something launched in the transmission/drivetrain of the Kubota.

From the sound of it, and from the way it's acting, I suspect it may be a pair of geared shafts (referred to as "front shafts") in a housing on the back side of the clutch housing:

It will (likely) involve splitting the tractor ... :(

Will need to do more research, including calling the local dealer tomorrow to see if it's a known problem.

Hope everyone had a better day than we had here ... :giggle:

Ouch, sorry to hear your transmission is playing up. Hope it is not too serious (expensive)

Better news here. Progress surprise. The builders turned up in the hope the weather would be OK and it is hot and sunny. They hope to get some sheeting on today and finish sheeting on Monday depending on wind and weather.
My wife commented that, "that shed is bigger than our house, maybe we should move in there instead of renovating this one" !!!??
NOOO!!!

Poured first cup of coffee. 35° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 50° with cloudy skies in PM. Got my grocery shopping done. Shelves seemed to be fully stocked. Did a little cleanup in shop and around yard. Ready as I can be for winter. Dr. appointment this morning. Could not tell that I had cleaned up lawn Wednesday by 2 pm yesterday. Neighbor came over and cleaned it up for me. As he was leaving storm front moved in. Does not look like either of us did anything.
Caught this little guy hiding in the leaves.

Alien, thanks for the Koala sounds. Barn is coming along.

Don, good pictures.

David, not sure where you will be in AZ. There are 3 Camping World stores in AZ. They may have one on the shelf.

Eric, a spider web morning. I would have dreams about them. Thankfully I dreamed about leaves last night.

PJ, neat machine video.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

61 and hard rain/cold front just passed through, but just light rain now. Should clear up and hit 69.

Alien, quite the high quality on your building. It looks cool.

RS, sorry about your tractor...and you seem to use it everyday...do you have a back-up?

Buppies, hope your health is improving.

Did some more painting and caulking Wednesday, and roasted coffee for a few hours yesterday so I'd have extra to give to my son and DIL when they come visit.

Consolidated all my To-Do lists into an Outdoor one and an Indoor one...that about wore me out. 😁

good morning all
warm morning ahead of storm coming through in next hour, about a day later than they originally predicted. Hope we get enough to water all that pachysandra I planted
at church or I'll have to go over early on Sunday to water them.

Alien, do you have a koala watering station in your new building? Fun to watch it going up.

am killing time today, indoors for sure due to rain, until I can go pick up my truck late this afternoon.
Maybe I'll give my nice friends at Rubbermaid a call and find out when my shed will get here. No reply to my last inquiry...

primary doc just upped my statin dose because I was just over the line this time. No. Up for over an hour last night with leg cramps, had to sit in shower with hot water running
on legs to get them to relax, the very reason I reduced the dose last time. I really don't want to have to have mustard on my dessert every night... this is the third time I've tried to up the dose
and have had to retreat. Guess I'd better cut back on the cheese...

RS, about an hour from here West of Philadelphia are some amazing gardens that most of us locally have visited
at some point over the years. Their Christmas displays are magical, hopefully they will be open this year.

as you keep planting away, I keep thinking you are making your own Longwood Gardens.
If one is a gardener, it's great fun. Particularly with a good cordless auger planter...
and you will be happy to know they say now is the time to plant bulbs.

56 outside this AM. Heading to mid 60's, grey and slightly wet this morning.

Had to run up to Baltimore yesterday, sort of shot the day. Just love the traffic. Lost an hour in it both ways. Unfortunate, but I have come to realize, I despise driving. I guess this area with all the growth has done that to me. Looks like I need an attitude adjustment.

Today looks to be an indoor sort of day. I may need to run out and pickup some equipment from my local repair man. That will also mean dropping the splitter off. I managed to get it to fire and run for about 5 seconds a few times. I think the carb is done. Cleaned it as best I could. Oh well....

Hope all are feeling better. Have a good day and be safe. TGIF.

Nice building, Alien. Remember what I said about remodeling. Run while you can. LOL.

Morning all, raining and windy here.
Didn;t get much done yesterday due to day job.
Met neighbor on shared road out in the dark on his ZT picking up leaves. Though looking today you would not notice that both of us cleaned up our areas nicely before the rain/wind undid our cleanup.
Will clean up and dress chainsaws today

Wife's birthday this weekend, tomorrow glass blowing class, Sunday we see John Waite at the New Hope winery

RS- That's a lot of dung! Hope tractor issue does not mean a split for you.

Drew-I can;t do statins, I was in a huge amount of pain with every one of them. I will PM you the stuff I use, first product ever to get my numbers down.

Stay safe and be well,

Yesterday, with some new leaves

Good Morning.
It’s 62 outside and going to stay there until the cold front passes through later this morning. Looks like we are not going to get much bluster or rain out of it though.

Yesterday was a lazy day for me. I managed to fit about 2 hours of productivity into a whole day. I managed to get the trash and recycling to the end of the lane, take the string trimmer for a walk, scrape the decks on the Progressive mower, and collect the empty 20lb propane cylinders.

Today I’ll be taking 5 of them to get filled. That’s over a years worth, but I take them to a place that charges me by the gallon rather than a flat fee per tank so it’s worth the trip. No band activity tonight, probably another lazy day, hopefully I’ll get some shop time in, even if it’s just cleaning up.

It’s really starting to look like fall around here.
