72 going to 83...got some rain, but glad it wasn't the flooding version a bit south of here...more maybe today.

Kyle, she sure looks happy with that big bass.

Took it pretty easy yesterday...watched the movie Animal House...been many years since we'd seen it...we still laughed our socks off.

69 going up to high 80's in clouds today
Last week of PT, sure not back to where I started but hope over time I get more limber.
Not much planned for today.
Hope to get quote on Kubota today so I can compare to JD.

I got the new stand for the band saw built yesterday, and moved some heavy things around.
Today will spend a little time in wood shop and get organized. Might use new Wen grinder to sharpen some
mower blades.

Steppenwolf, very sorry for your loss, hope it gets easier each day.

Kyle, marvelous pic of your daughter

Poured first cup of hot coffee. 51° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 78° with mostly sunny skies. Got shop projects done. Then helped neighbor clear tree that fell on his TT. That gave me some seat time. Going to Port Huon to visit my Uncle and Aunt today.

Buppies, every try Bread and Butter pickles with Horseradish. Very good.

Buckeye, RV looks good. Hope you feel better soon.

Bird, .5" is about right. I have been getting way to much this year.

Randy, I have never used the connector on left of the one ordered. I have a new gas can that I like.

Kyle, try the pickles linked above. You will not find them in Boars Head display. They will be in the refrigerated area.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

I pull the club trailer and my small cargo trailer that have 4-flat connectors, just makes it handier than using adapters.

I have that same can for diesel, love it!

Good morning.

It’s 65 and heading to the low 80’s with cloudy skies and 20% chance of rain or a thunderstorm.

Yesterday was actually a pretty nice day outdoors, not too hot or humid. Not a bad day for the New Hope car show, (which I didn’t go to).
I spent most of the day in the shop, but my neighbor rented a man lift to do some painting, he brought it over and I used it to replace the last quartz flood light on the property with an LED one.
I replaced all the 500 watt quartz fixtures with 200 watt LED ones. They’re 25,000 lumens and bright white, so if all the lights are on (which is rare) it looks like a sports arena outside.

I had two pieces of 1/4” Aluminum angle on the gable end of the house that once supported an TV antenna mast. I drilled and tapped one of those and mounted the light bracket there. Much easier working out of the lift than on a ladder in the shrubs.

Today will be another day in the shop, I’ve got to get these speakers out and get ahead of the chores around here, as I’ve got to go to Wichita for two weeks in September for a type rating in a Citation CJ3 that we just acquired. It will be interesting to see if you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Good Morning. 79F @ 5:15AM. Mainly sunny. High near 105F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Looks like we'll be under a Fire Weather Watch starting tomorrow evening for the next 24 hours. And right on queue, PG&E has announced elevated chances that they'll be turning off the power. Strong winds out of the north ensure crappy air, too. Lovely.
Yesterday's hundred plus temperature prediction never materialized, probably due to the smoke haze that hung overhead all day. "Only" got to 98.5F, hardly enough to break a sweat.😅

Welcome, blacktruck!

Will they give you exercises you can do at home once you finish the PT, Drew?
Good luck with the quote. Once you get a new tractor, we'll have to touch up your avatar again, and work on planting an apple tree in the yard.

Happy frog, Ron.

Big fish, happy daughter, proud father, Kyle. Did she eat it?

Drove a T-stake next to the upper water tank yesterday and mounted a plastic electrical box to it to provide weather protection for an Ethernet switch and the remote end of the Ethernet extender. I was a bit surprised I was able to drive it in as far as it went, considering all the rocks in the ground up there. Sure is crowded in that box, and I'll be curious to see how the equipment in there does heat wise. Back in the pump house below, I was finally able to get the camera link to work with over 1400' of cable, clearing the way to getting a camera up at the cul-de-sac. The last hurdle seems to have been to make sure the connectors are fully seated in their sockets. Apparently it's not good enough to just hear the little "click" when the plastic tab catches.

I was so overcome with joy I treated myself to a siesta after a late lunch, and didn't wake up again until dinner time. Soaked a nice chunk of New York Strip in some Yashida's to defrost it, and managed not to burn it on the Blaze BBQ. Very aptly named piece of equipment, that one is!

Need to do more testing on the solar power system soon, to better understand under what conditions the voltage sag problems are the worst. Not sure this is the best time to be doing them, though, with a power outage on the way. But I also need the practice switching the system back to the grid, and also to run on just the generator, so what the heck, might as well get started on that this morning. Probably should give the solar panels a rinse, too, so maybe I'll start there first thing before they get too warm. Who knows how the rest of the day will go.

Hope everyone's week gets started in the right direction...

25,000 lumens! 👍 Sounds like a major lighting upgrade, Paul. Mind sharing a link to where you got 'em?

Amazon, and it looks like I exaggerated, they’re only 22,000 lumens.

Thanks, Paul. Impressive!

Have you measured the current draw on one of those yet? In the Q/A part of the description, one guy says they draw a little less than 2 amps, and another says 15!

Good afternoon. Definitely not going to be a hundred plus day here, our "high" is 16C/60F.

Gardening didn't go quite to plan yesterday. Had some rocks to move so I put the bucket on the loader and was fortunate to catch a hydraulic oil leek before too much was lost. A flat face coupler had come loose.

Half an hour later I had loaded with rocks, took them into the field to dump and had my second (less fortunate) catch of the day - my front tyre on a piece of rusty steel, hidden in the long grass.
Kyle, I much prefer your daughter's catch. Did the bass go back into the pond or onto your barbecue ?

66°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 82° today.

Had a long weekend, taking Thursday and Friday off from work to do some stuff with The Wife. Didn't do much internet over the weekend, so I have some catching up to do here.

Celebrated the completion of my 55th trip around the sun yesterday. Guess I'm officially a "senior" now. Stopped at McDonald's on the way to work this morning to get my "senior coffee." :ROFLMAO: Sent a picture of the receipt to my Wife, and she called me a dork. Fair enough.

Good morning! 77˚F heading to the low 90s, had 1/4" rain and very cloudy skies yesterday. We are about 10˚ below normal today.

One of my unvaccinated covid infected friends is feeling a little worse and one is trying to get the antibody treatment. Notice the bold print below. If it sounds familiar its because it's the same wording as the vaccine which kind of invalidates any reason for not getting the vaccine. Guess it is a lot easier to justify an experimental drug when you are felling bad than when you are felling well.

"Two combination anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody products (bamlanivimab plus etesevimab and casirivimab plus imdevimab) and a single monoclonal antibody (sotrovimab) have been shown to reduce the risk of hospitalization and death in the outpatient setting in those with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms and certain risk factors for disease progression. As a result, these products have received Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of COVID-19"

Step, sorry for the loss of your Dad.
Kyle, classic pic, she looks like one of the "Cool Kids".
Ron, the frog almost looks metallic.
RNG, I would be tempted to put a heat hood on those outdoor outlets after all that work.

I have been taking it easy with my strained neck, yesterday was the worst, but this morning feels greatly improved. It must have been something I did at the gym - 72 hrs before the pain started.

Good morning to all! Low of 58, going up to 86, chance of storms. Yesterday's forecast was only half correct, they predicted the time of the storms with good accuracy..... but the storms never made it to us. They all fizzled out before getting to us. Just got the strong downdraft winds.

Paul, those are some lights! I would be curious about the amp draw also...

Kyle, great pic of your daughter and her catch! I haven't caught a fish like that for a very long time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to PJ..... welcome to the club! Next thing that will happen is you'll be paying attention to Joe Namath talking about medicare! 😳
Did you join AARP?

RNG, I am glad you are able to get the camera stuff figured out. Try to stay cool while out there.... those temps are way too hot for me!

Eric, sorry to hear about the puncture.... hopefully repairable without too much trouble.

Not sure about the agenda for today.... there is a dirt pile that I want to move, landscape fabric to put down, a big pile of split rail fence materials that has to be moved and restacked, ..... decisions, decisions.....

Everyone have a great day and start to the week!
