Got Subaru oil changed. Opened hood on Honda and there lay a screwdriver from the last time I changed it’s oil in may.
Help my wife pick green beans, tomatoes, peppers in the garden. One tomato cage blew over, too heavy to stay upright.
Something getting into my later corn, so put game camera up.
Finally got to washing front of camper.

Big difference when done, but wore me out.

Was overcast, sun now out.

Everybody including me is up early for a Saturday. Well, Eric is 5 hrs late.
Thanks for the big boy pics.
Rooster is crowing and doves are singing.
Went to bed a little early last night, body just aches. Still aches this morning.
Have a company picnic at a coworkers house this afternoon. He lives up my way, so not a long trip. Calling for 60% chance of rain, not sure what they will do for rain.
Need to get Subaru oil changed this morning, it’s overdue. Not looking forward to laying on concrete floor to get plug out, but it doesn’t take too long.
I give the sermon at worship at the end of the month, I do it once a year. gotta get working on that. Hardest part is usually deciding on a topic.

How about: If you wanna feel swell, stay outta hell!
I’m not really a preacher and I never played one on TV.

NWS forecast this morning; 76 degrees going for 90 with a 50% chance of rain. Well, with low humidity and dry grass, I mowed, edged, and trimmed front and back yard, cleaned up the mower and put it away by 10:10 a.m. got a shower, started a load of laundry, and watched the clouds darken. Much needed rain began shortly after 11 a.m. My gauge has only gotten a little over a half inch so far, but it's still coming down. First rain in about 2 weeks and I love it.:D
And now at noon, it appears that the rain is over and my gauge has about 1.27" in it.

91, heat index 103, a chance of storms later. We had 3-4 pass overnight, only rain we got was the first one, a whole .06”. But the wind blew the furniture on the deck into a pile in one corner, one gust hit 62 mph.
I need to mow but not in this heat.
I ordered a dual trailer wire plug for the Ram, tired of trying to keep up with adapters. And a couple of gas can nozzles, I’m tired of the new safety nozzles.

Morning all, no rain and 88, so heat is still here though not as bad as last 5 days.
Allergy does seem to be food. Slept 10 hours last night and had a fever this morning, hives moved up to head.
Nothing got done, supposedly Comcast will be here tomorrow to replace cable, even though they told me a remote fix was done-not. Cable fell off around 18db which reflects in low throughput with more channels. Which is what I am seeing.

David - Every angle of your place looks amazing, can certainly see why you moved there. Wide loves Orchids, I get them to come back sometimes, but they are from greenhouse.
Mo-glad the trees didn;t take out any power-clean up is not fun, always happens when you have other things to do.
Ron - PSA down (y)
PopG-miss the grange- maybe next year- I think I have a IH shirt from there

Stay safe and be well, I am off to rest and took some tylenol.

Send it on down, we need it here. Mom got her notice for her every 2 year in person renewal for her DL and her county is now a hotspot for covid. We are starting to get more breakthrough cases in the neighborhood, notices are going out when they report being in a public place. This is getting tiresome.
Mostly, the two unvaccinated friends that got covid were older than me, they are doing fine, they had no medical problem and were not overweight.
I'm inside today recuperation day with a sore neck muscle, still trying to remember how I did it.

That has potential

But have you stayed at a holiday inn Express?

Started mowing the lawn I hadn't finished a couple days ago...short shower came down before I was done, so I knocked off for about an hour or thereabouts. Just gone it from completing the mowing

Drew, I'm not so sure about the uptick in Covid in the south...especially Florida. The CDC just got busted for over-reporting Florida a couple days ago. Whether that was intentional or a mistake, I'm not sure.... But I know I don't trust a lot of what's coming out of Washington these days... Unfortunately, the news media can't be trusted either...
I should qualify that (above). Never did lend total credence to what comes out of Washington...just seems worse in the last several months...same with the "news" media

I'll get to the string trimming and such tomorrow...

Boo boo having to fill up before winter. I just heard that black bears eat 20,000 calories a day when preparing for hibernation. Remember Thomas, they are Omnivores.....

2 suggestions: Reminding your church family about the full armor of God (because of all the craziness going on)....and/or Giving your everyday stress to God (Put it in his hands).

My daughter is due to play guitar and read scripture tomorrow.
70 and humid going to 92.

Ron, good news on your PSA. Nice hummer pic.

Mostly, I get excited when just a modern train comes down our nearby tracks, so know seeing that one would be sweet. Nice handlebars on your bike, too. 😁

Caught up all the mowing yesterday...another 3 hours blowing grass and pollen and dust.

Last night was deemed to be "game night" by our oldest son and DIL...they came for dinner and to spend the night. We were outside and I was showing them the bee tree and telling the story when a huge storm starting blowing lawn chairs around and leaves off the trees...we got only a sprinkle, but nearby got a good soak.

We stayed up 'til after midnight playing table games and had a lot of laughs (the best medicine). I woke up a couple of hours ago, anyway...doesn't matter when I go to bed...still wake up early. So, fed the birds and made coffee and a gallon of hummingbird food for later in the day.
Sounds like a storm game night! Same here....wake up early. Maybe a gallon of coffee in order too. :)

Mostly, glad you got to see the Big Boy! I chased it for half a day last go around. Awesome. I might go see it when it comes through BCS (Bryan College Station), but it's not stopping.

Daughter and I did the yard this morning. I got out at 9 to weedeat, but it was already too hot. Whew!

Sprayed some antbeds, sprayed some weeds.

The guy doing my hay came at 11pm last night, and cut a few acres of hay. I was hoping he'd cut more, and he might have if he'd done it in the day.

I have a lot of tree trimming/cutting/burning to do when it gets cooler.

Speaking of games, I have found out that my wife likes to put puzzles together, and we have spent a few nice quiet evenings together on a 1000 piece puzzle, still not quite finished.

Am I the only one online here that likes sweet pickles??? I buy them, but the rest of my family turns their nose up at them....good for me.

Daughter caught a nice bass in the pond yesterday.

Popgadget, many a home get burned up from something like that. Fretless.....cool!

Prayers for our team, for cures and divine healing for cancer, heart disease, and mental illness....and for our country.

We ALWAYS have a jar of them in the refrigerator, but I'll admit they do seem to last a long time. I also use a little of the juice from the jar when I make deviled eggs.

Many times on TBN I have mentioned my Dad; he passed away last Sunday at 85. He was a very proud career Air Force man having served 22 years; and was also a Viet Nam vet. He was a good man...

Sorry for the loss of your dad. Bless him for his service.
