Come off it man. Bionic eyes have been around since I saw Lee Majors on the TV. I asked for one when mine was poked out and they told me my insurance would not cover it, so all I got was the coral implant and some really expensive plastic.

Darn insurance. :) :)

At least I have X-ray imagination!:D

I checked my rain gage this morning and it shows 1.65" for yesterday with more expected today and tomorrow. I still need to get to the garden today with my mud boots on to make sure I don't have huge cucumbers and squash. From the house, it looks pretty happy and wet down there.

There must have been 10 crows at my deer feeder this morning and all were participating in a crow caw-caw cacophony (say that 3 times really fast).:)

Farmgirl, I noticed it wasn't raining in the picture you posted. If you expect us to imagine you running naked in the rain, we need better visuals.

jinman; I passed on the rubber boots going out to the livestock this morning. I took a simple pleasure from childhood, and let the mud squish between my toes! :D Of course, took a little time to get feet clean enough to come back into the house, but was fun and welcome, nonetheless! :cloud9:

You realize that livestock mud generally has a high protein component? Like Perdue chicken, I was farm raised too, so I know what's in farm mud!:D

I figured one of you would say that, as soon as I hit "post"! I was not in the pens with the livestock, but rather walking outside the pens, putting feed over the fence for livestock!

Why am I not surprised *YOU* are the one that caught that?

We had left a dried gourd on the front porch for the kittens to play with. They played a hole right into it and we had a couple of gourds come up beside the porch. I didn't want to put them in the garden, so as not to mess up the other viney things. So I just cleared the grass from around them, added potting soil and mulch, then put up a wire cage for them to run on. [and to keep the kittens out] Saturday on my way to work I noticed one of them had shot up over the cage. I planned on putting some tall stakes up, and running string between them on Sunday morning.

I didn't think of it until I was leaving for work on Sunday, and I couldn't find the string I had planned to use. So I left it until I got home. While I was at work there was a thunderstorm with pretty good winds. The vine had broken over when I came in. So I just used some old haystring out of the back of my truck. [what I should have done to start with] This morning it had already attached itself to the new stakes and string and was headed back up. The other one had also found the new stake. I'm not sure if we have enough time to make gourds, but I didn't want to just mow them down.
