Thanks! The hat can get too warm, quickly.

I'll wet down a doo-rag, put it on and then the hat. That keeps the head quite cool and the sweat out on my eyes.
Another thing is a pith helmet...like some postal carriers wear. These are made of cork, so you wet that down and as the water evaporates, your head is kept cooler. Must admit, pith helmets do look a bit dorky...but at my age, dorky don't matter...

65 right now and a high of 81 predicted...bit cooler then yesterday and the cooling trend is predicted to continue for a week or so.
However, the rain continues...60% probability today and it looks like that high probability will go on for a few more days. That makes it tough on the outdoor work...

79* on its way to 98*. Maybe we can get one more day without triple digits! I got the lawn mowed yesterday, but still have about 15-18 hours of brush hogging that I need to do. Hope to do a couple of hours after work today and Friday, then some over the weekend. Have a 4 day weekend, next weekend, for July 4, so can finish up whatever is left then.

Would still be very happy with some RAIN!
