good morning 60 degrees no rain so far, got a chance of it every day this week. the long range weather report says we could have record rain fall for july, i remember those days but been along time. looks like wet summer comming on but we will take it and like it. everyone have a great day.

Gonna be a two handkerchief day today Randy...I'm headed to the garden early to beat the heat.

going round and round with my wife about driving her to a doc apt today. She wants to drive, says she can, and likely will do fine. She's on heavy meds though and if anything happens, I'm going to assume that had a part in it. She drives over to her Mom's twenty minutes away ok, but the hospital is an hour, but no fast roads. I'm a natural worry wart,
but she wants her independence too. And technically I'm not even supposed to be driving yet, so my demanding to drive her is a bit of a stretch. She looks at me and says
"I'll be fine dear".

I haven't driven the suburban in three weeks. Will take it to the car wash, then the farm. Been pretty spoiled driving the wife's car, a 2500 isn't exactly smooth on our local bumpy roads. Well now I can be the one geezering along while others are annoyed behind, like I usually am. The main road near us is populated by a number of continuing care/retirement communities and the blue hairs pull out onto the road at a snail's pace and then usually drive thirty five in a forty five. Four door Corolla almost always. I'm doing better in retirement, it used to drive me nuts getting stuck behind them. I found that pulling a bit to the right of the lane so the guy behind me can see what's holding us up helps in not getting tailgated so badly. Course the giant three ball chrome hitch on the Suburban does a marvelous job at keeping folks back a bit.

well dodged the rain again today. we have a 30 or 40 and one day 60% chance of rain thru next tuesday. i guess this is the trend for this summer.temps have been nice low to mid 80's alittle hot but tolrable. everyone have a good evening.

Visor, tank top, shorts...sounds good to me!!
But, IMHO, a wide brim hat works better then a visor....but I'm sure you look great either way...and, if you're like me, that post work shower is mighty inviting!!

Thanks! The hat can get too warm, quickly. So, a visor and large, dark sunglasses are good. Yep, the after work shower is wonderful!

Shorts, slippahs (flip flops), and a tee - my normal uniform year round. A ball cap on particularly sunny days. Sometimes the wife gets insistent that I put on real shoes for some jobs LOL

Last trip to eye doc was told to where sun glasses, so now I do.
