Just put the coffee pot on. 60° with rain this morning. Heading to 73° with clouds breaking into sun this afternoon. Lots of rain, lighting, and thunder last night. Rain on the roof this morning let me sleep in. Got maintenance work to do on lawn equipment today.

Up at 0600, nice view of the harbor in Baltimore...

Severe storms at home this afternoon have me slightly worried. two of my Harleys are outside inder trees, in the grass at the house I am living at, and my ranch where the girls live has a weak & leaky roof.

I'm praying God does not add this to my plate right now...

Daugen....such wondereful news, thank you for sharing it with us...we now have conclusive proof that prayer does influence things for the better....keep us posted.

2.6 inches of rainfall here fell last night...I have to vacuum up about 20 gallons of water on the floor of my older basement (no sump pump, just a floor drain) but have been getting reports from others I know about flooded basements....I feel so fortunate compared to them.

I pushed all my new deck furniture to a rear corner and strapped it to the railing, so hopefully anything short of a twister it will be OK.
If it stays overcast today it will not be as bad, but the sun is supposed to come out later and get between 90-95, if that happens we'll get a doozey!
