58 degrees and heading up into the low 90’s today. Hot weekend ahead with some isolated T-storms promised!
cut the grass yesterday and only a little trimming to finish up this morning.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 65° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 81 with afternoon thunderstorms. Yesterdays thunderstorms brought down some more branches. Got to clean them up. Then it's back to the garden pond cleanup .

Good Morning! Last day of May and Summer is here at 77˚ before sunrise. This is the warmest morning of the year! Partly cloudy heading to the mid 90s.
Got my golf cart brake cable arrived in the mail yesterday and will soon be back to both rear wheels with brakes.

Agreed--always short of screws. That's when I use my expensive tire locating device to find the one screw I dropped in the driveway near the barn. I lose one screw and it showed up in my tire. No, 15 years later and I'm still not bitter...:laughing:

67 warm and sultry degrees this morning going again to 90. This warm spell should end Sunday with rain

I'm 250 miles north of TxDon, but I'm only 2 degrees cooler at 75 F this morning with gusty breezes. These warm, high humidity days with unstable air above us are the makings of severe thunderstorms. Gonna have to keep my eyes peeled this weekend. I'm sure thankful for wildflowers. They give me an excuse not to tractor mow all my place. It's all I can do to keep up with my yard.

Wildflowers are almost completely gone around here, and now both sides of the I35E right-of-way have been mowed. But I sure need to do some lawn mowing again already. It's been 4 days since I did that.

Late start here today. Power was off for about 9 hrs last night. Ran the gen until about 10, then shut it off and went to bed. Woke up at 12:30 am, when the power came back, all the electronics started beeping. Gonna be a screwed up day, gotta wait for a HVAC guy at a rental unit. Had those folks out last week, same problem....

I agree about motorcycles. I've had a couple of close calls. I've also visted both my brothers in the hospital, after their cycle wrecks. Both are ok now, but neither rides anymore.

still working on planting stuff in the gardens so that will continue this morning.
Cooling down for the rest of next week to a high in the mid 70痴 and little chance of rain.

Just put the coffee pot on. 63° with heavy rain this morning. Heading to 75° with thunderstorms all day. Pond project spent most of the day on hold yesterday. Gave up on cleaning yard until the front moves through our area tomorrow morning. Going to try visiting Local Kite Festival today. Good thing it is close to home.

I used my Countyline tiller for the first time yesterday, tilled up my patch, then did 1/2 acre at a neighbors. Really worked good. I think a 72 in tiller is all my L3400 wanted. I could telll it was pushing a little. No rocks at my place, but lots at my neighbor's.

I have the same tiller behind my L3710. We started a new area this year that used to be pasture. It's mostly clay and I tilled it 5 times. It's a good thing I had a clutch on it or it might have stalled the tractor or broke something on the first run.

I've had this tiller for a few years now and I till our garden and 2 neighbors. It's performed perfectly so far.

Looks like another scorcher today...90 degrees and 50% chance of rain, maybe thunderstorms.
After this weekend, the 10 day forecast is for more seasonal temperatures in the 65 to 75 degree range.
