-8°F and it will be going up to 16 above. Wind WNW 11 mph. A mix of sun and cloud.

Another town run this afternoon, then conserve energy for the rest of the day.

It is still too cold for my arthritic hands to do anything involving manual labour outside.

Have a good day all

I have never seen a female cardinal this light colored, I’ve seen a lot of bronze or light reddish orange but never this shade. In person it was almost a pale yellow color. This was at moms nursing home.

Just another of mother nature wonders...thanks for sharing.

Good morning! 51˚F heading to 73˚F southerly winds and mostly sunny one of those perfect Texas Winter days.

I have a lot planed outside today, first is to help prepare the tractor barn for termite extermination. Termites have been located and they will drill the slab. We have to get everything away from the exterior walls.

Then Trail Blazers in the afternoon, getting the last push in before the big celebration ribbon cutting at the end of the month. I sure could use my winning tractor this afternoon but I must wait till April 1.

In April we start with the new section which should take about three years. By popular demand hiking trails won out over a new golf course so lots of work to do with the CA's blessings.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 12° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 27° with partly sunny skies. Trip to pickup test results went well. Wifes OT was OK. Stopped at Menards and restocked bird feed. Another 170lbs. No plans for today. Maybe get back at spring cleaning.

Eric, I thought all you needed to collect rainwater was a large barrel. Unless you need it to have bath water like David.

Randy, good picture.

Good Morning All.

We have had some Credit card problems a few years back. But nothing in last 6 years. Our biggest hit was TurboTax. Not that we lost any money. Someone tried to file a tax return using our info. Had to file manually. TurboTax claims it was not their fault. :confused3: Filed police report and a claim against TurboTax. Got 2 years of free account monitoring. I see that TurboTax is offering another 2 years of free monitoring with Experian again. My thoughts are that's where it all started. I now get a code number each year from IRS. If the code is not put in filing. Taxes get rejected.

Randy- I've never seen a cardinal with that color; Wifey either. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry that happened to you. I've often wondered how safe it is to e-file, and why TurboTax would insert themselves into the loop. What are they getting out of it such that it's worth doing for free?

Can anybody get a code number from the IRS, Ron, or is it just for those that have had trouble in the past?

It's 28° this morning with about 2 inches of snow. Yesterday we had snow showers most of the afternoon with high in the mid 30's and gusty winds. It looked like a mixed bag for the next two days of weather. Snow this morning and sunny this afternoon with a high in the low 30's with increasing winds. Then a good chance of more snow over night into Friday afternoon.

We need to make a trip in to town today. I'm thing about going later and having dinner in town.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Good morning to all! Low of 42, going up to 68, but wind advisory for this afternoon, gusts to 50-55. Slight chance of a sprinkle yesterday.

Sad news about Alex Trebek, the host of 'Jeopardy'. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.. He has a great outlook and says "he's going to beat it". A very humble, intelligent man.

Need to do some errands this morning, hopefully before the wind kicks in.

Randy, neat colored bird. You're also 1 in a million for even spotting it!

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent.

Good Morning!!!! 47F @ 6:00AM. Cloudy skies with a few showers this afternoon. High 51F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

Really unsettled weather all day yesterday. Rain one minute, sunshine the next, and strong wind to go along with it. The lion arrived a little late this month.

Tried to import some photos off a digital camera into the new laptop yesterday, but found that the USB hub between the two wasn't working. After the trouble with the other computer and drivers, I thought maybe the same thing was going on with the new one, but couldn't find any info that that may be the problem. Wasted a bunch of time down that rabbit hole until I just unplugged the hub, let it sit a little bit, then hooked it up again, and that fixed the problem. Wish they were all that easy.

Went out to try and "fix" the chainsaw, and sure enough, it started right up.:confused3: I think maybe it was as tired as I was when it quit? Just to feel like I did something, I pulled the screen out of the spark arrestor and cleaned it, and it needed it. It had stopped raining by then so I went out and cut another cart load of wood, not quite finishing the pile. Managed to stick the chain in the ground once, though, so that one needs sharpening...

Think I'll get a grocery run in early, then try to get a little more sawing in at the end of the day.

I think there are a lot of descriptions that apply to the membership here. I'll stay with unique.

".... I got to see Santana at a small auditorium on the Ohio State campus back in '77 or '78."- RNG. That was before PSU joined the Big 10. They played at PSU on the same tour; like you I can not remember the year. You all bring up semi-conscious memories of groups and musicians past. I saw Jefferson Airplane, Gracie Slick awesomely beautiful, was ~9 months pregnant. She reportedly had false labor pains before the concert. I also saw Chicago, Seatrain, Jethro Tull, Moody Blues. I was also at Woodstock II, but only remember sleeping in mud.:embarrassed:. I post like an old f*rt, but that (and the music of the era) was real music.

Jay, nice shot of Brogen 'chillin' ... Or should i say 'warming' in the sun. Looks like there's enough room for you to stretch out next to him!

Mine code is from my problem filing 2014 taxes. There was a fraud form I filled out at the time I found out someone had already filed taxes in our name/SS number. Then I got a bill from TurboTax for the false filling. They canceled that bill and refunded my filing fee for that year.
I have not a had problem since getting and using the code. I still use TurboTax. Got my refund in 1 week this year.
