Very similar to the Zenith 701, Bird. Does look like a fun plane.

I don't think I've ever actually seen a Zenith 701. There are lots of 2 seat airplanes, but what I liked about the Helio Courier was not only the performance, but it has a 6 person capacity.

Wngsprd most of my wood cutting buddies have gone the husky route. They claim stihl not what it once was yard people echo

Jay that痴 great news

Wngsprd the tree cutting people I hired only used Echo. I have an older Husqvarna that I love and keep repaired but my Dad bought a new one several years ago and they are different, I hate it - Hard to pull, hard to start.

Yea, Jay no surgery needed!

For those that give their pet CBD oil, which one do you give your dog? Have you noticed how long it takes effect and how long it last, or do you just give it daily?

Nice sunny day yesterday so I rolled out the new-to-me bike out of the garage for a few photos while it's still in "as received" condition. That's when I noticed the spots of oil underneath it, coming from the usual spots. Probably loose oil pan bolts and he didn't use a new crush ring under the oil drain plug. The adventure begins.:confused2:

TGIF gang!:cool2::drink:

RNG: Sweeet, that is a good looking bike! It has a cruiser look, is it a R100R? It almost looks like the rarer street version of the R100GS? My R12C has a low seat height by bmw standards, lowered by 1/2 inch with the K12RS cast wheel swap. Congrats!!

We are through the couple of days of 0F +/- lows, slowly heading upward to above freezing for the start of next week. Possible forties by midweek! I have been working from home the last three days, feeding the woodstove and keeping the pups warm. Weekend plans include fine tuning the recent snow cleanup, Saturday chores and Super Bowl Sunday! :football:

It is indeed an R100R, the "standard" of it's time without a fairing or other fancy goo gaws. A '93, same year as my zebra R100GS, but a lot less miles. They share the same parts except for the Showa fork and lower handlebars on the R. In the future, the R will get a Pichler full fairing, a GS/PD solo seat and rack, and a set of Jesse saddle bags. The seat will be shared with the GS (it's a custom Rocky Mayer), and the bags will do triple duty on an RT and an R80 G/S. Hey, a golfer's got more than one club, right?

We give it daily in the morning. The dosage is weght based, adaptable to age. Our older dog (12y/o) is 14 lbs, she gets 10 drops on her food. The puppy is 11 lbs now, but only gets 5 drops. Our 'old lady' has become much more active since getting the cbd. She wants to run and play like she is a puppy. Noticed a difference within about a week.

Jay, GREAT NEWS! Now...as I have been told...this news doesn't give a 'go ahead' to do things that shouldn't be done yet.... :D

RNG, nice machines! Is the zebra a factory paint option? Reason why I ask is I have seen a zebra BMW out this way a couple of years ago....wondering if it was you...

Very nice! The R seat looks the same as on my 92 R100GS Bumblebee, the rear rack looks similar too. I traded the GS in 2010 for the 02 R1150RTP that I have now. I have GS pics on my pc. The RTP pic taken in Evans Notch in the Maine White Mtns, the R12C pic taken loaded for a week plus on the road to Quebec Gaspe with the Chromeheads.

Good evening all. 52F for the start, calm wind, fog. fog lifted out about 9AM overcast and light drizzle. Wind stayed low, sky stayed overcast and high temp of 62F. Run to town for groceries, and errands, bike ride, and no nap :(
Nice motorcycle pics:thumbsup:
Jay excellent news on the knee!!

Not a factory option; I did that one in the backyard with a bucket and a mop. Been a few more than a couple of years since I've been down Albuquerque way on that bike, but I tell ya, the zebra thing is a growing movement, and soon we'll be ever ware!

Very calm this morning and at a modest -3C/27F, quite pleasant outside. Grandkids will soon be here, so I better get the RC car on charge as there is a thin layer of frozen snow waiting to be used as a race track.

After a lifetime I tend to leak more than I did when I was younger, so I can relate to your 70 year old house ducting Ron. It would be hard to begrudge spending money on a little tlc after such faithful service.

Ive stayed in a few english inns, where they shut the boiler off at night, and your room gets really cold. Lol
Most old inns with character were built when men were men.
They turn the heating off extra early when there are visitors from America, to help experience a little of those long gone times. :)

8 and going to a high of 21°F. Wind SSW 21 gusting to 26 mph. Snowing now and will snow for the next 3 days.

I will try to get some video of the snow cleanup. I tried the other day, but there was so much movement in the video that it would make the average person sick.

That is my game plan for today and the rest of the weekend.

Happy weekend all, stay safe
