LS, beautiful pics, especially with the snow not in my yard..

Mostly, congrats on the miles.

48 and rain stopped. Going to 58.

LS, that's what I call a real snow. Try to enjoy. I'd like to get one like that every year. Just one, though.

Mostly, I'm amazed you even gained one pound pedaling all of those miles.

Jay, I watched an episode of Perry Mason yesterday, too. Nice 1958 vintage TV.

Roasted 3 coffees yesterday to make a special blend to give away today. I'm tasting it right now.

On the way back from the gym and buying gas ($1.76/gallon :) ) had a bald eagle glide right towards me then land in the top of a tree that sits over the road. Beautiful. Eric, sorry about that owl. I've never seen a barn owl around here.

good morning all. Warm day today, 58 going up to 66.
Need to work outside today, tired of being cooped up, and going through box after box of old paperwork,
my shredder is getting quite a workout.
found all kinds of neat things packed away, including the manual for my golf cart, which shows I need to check the transaxle oil.
Otherwise electric carts are pretty low maintenance.

Ted, take it slow with the snow. I thought you said you could hardly walk yesterday?
Your wife needs to get a big blob of museum putty and stick you to a chair! :D
Well, seat time is a chair, right?

Billy, Virginia gasoline is so cheap, surprised considering how nice the roads are there. I'm sure they get their taxes from you
in other ways.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 30° with snow showers this morning. Heading to 30° with cloudy skies. Got enough snow overnight to make the ground white. Not enough to get a shovel out. Walkways and drive are clear. Got footrest put together yesterday. Need to sand, stain and varnish yet. May get started on that today. Nice drive yesterday evening looking a Christmas lights. Need to get out and get some gas for cars today. $1.78 at Sams Club.

LS, nice snow pictures. Need some of that here.

Mostly, my PT therapist whose husband is a bike rider. She could not believe that someone rides that many miles on a bike. Her comment was that's all the way across USA and back.

Drew, first project for my golf cart lift is change axle oil.

Good Morning All.

Drew, first project for my golf cart lift is change axle oil.

wow, super helpful, I just printed that out, thanks Ron.
Great way of getting rid of some old 30W.

so perhaps a ride around the whole place and then back for an oil change.
Mine is a Club Car Precedent, generic golf cart bought at two years old, but so far incredibly reliable.
I keep a spare reversing switch, it's getting a little funky at times. Plus the switch gets banged
on by things I'm hauling. Too bad they never put that switch up on the column like
a tractor power-reverser lever.

I bought my 2002 golf cart in 2004. Only maintenance I have done to it is 1 set of batteries and a shot of grease on fittings every few years. I do need to fix light switch. But I never use it in the dark. So no rush.

Right at 40 now...and that's where it'll be staying today.
I need to make a dump run and that's about it today...

43 here dropping to freezing as the day goes on. The wind right now sounds like it’s going to blow my sun room off it’s foundation. Second cup of coffee ready, going to wife’s relatives to help with internet issues. Ground is still to wet for outside work. Still better than what LS-mt has. Lol.

The sun is making a welcome appearance after many days of gloom. Just enough breeze to give hope that some places may dry out enough for me to make slighly less mess with the Iseki before the drizzle returns.

All the stories of falls on here are food for thought. In winter I always put on a beanie hat to go outside to give a bit of extra cushioning just in case I do slip, though not sure how effective it would be. The biggest danger here at the moment is the slimy paving slabs. Yesterday I gave those outside the back door a good blast with the power washer. Last year someone said to try a product called "wet and forget". I forgot to try :confused3:. Just had a look and the active ingredient seems to be Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride, which is readily available - but even less memorable.

LS, that's my wife's idea of perfect snow - deep and beautiful and far, far away :)

3° and going to a high of 7°F. A tad cool. Wind NNW 16 gusting to 23 mph.

The block heater is turned on and at the risk of wasting hydro I will make the decision to go and plow around 10.

I may need to go to the Post Office and sign for some weed that should be there. I love it! Mail order dope.

The morning of New Years eve I have a Dr.s appointment in North Bay, to get my 'script for cbd oil extended for another year.

Have a good day all

NWS says it's 34 degrees this morning, going for a high of 38, then back down to 33 tonight. This old age is tough. Yesterday morning, while the temperature was in the upper 30s, I used the EGO blower to blow all the tiny acorns off the driveways and walk, then I raked up and bagged about a hundred pounds of those acorns with just a very few leaves in them. And by late yesterday afternoon, I was so sore I could hardly get around. And I'm still pretty sore today. I've grown to hate live oak trees.

This old age is tough.

and the tough keep going.
raking a hundred pounds of acorns? no wonder you're sore Bird. Too bad you can't plant them, like along the tree line of the neighbor
you don't like.

see, you're a tough old Bird. ;)

I say put a pink heart on those canes and leave ‘em!

fun part is they are LED, have the same ones, and they could light up in the snow. Bet that would look cool.
sure need to be careful with the plow...

1963 Biarritz convertible was the car rich industrialists and high earners gave their wives, in Palm Beach and other fashionable places,
no need to get a foreign car like those Hollywood movie stars. US Grade A Prime. Looking forward to February.
I have an old trucks and a Massey calendar ready to go.

I think that microbus sidecar is the bomb. Are those aircraft lights? Is that a steering wheel in there? Can they drive from inside? Might be just a reflection.
Waiting to see picture of RNG's Vanagon pulling his BMW on a trailer.

   / Good morning!!!! #86,459
Starting off in the upper 30's with only a high of 43F expected.
Ron, nice photo.
LS, careful with all that snow. My middle daughter would love it.

Drew, my son was given a small cabbage to plant, and it has been doing quite well now for about 2 months. When will you plant your's? What will you plant first? I looked for onion sets yesterday. No luck finding them yet.
