In the sub-forum “news/feedback there is a thread about apostrophes coming out messed up using a mobile device to post. I can’t duplicate it with my iPhone. All apostrophes come out perfect. Does anyone else on the morning thread have problems with apostrophes on a mobile device on TBN?

Merry Christmas and good evening all. 34F at the start, mostly clear, calm wind. wind 11-15 occasional gust to 20 mph, sky just a few high cirrus, and high temp 58F. Slow start to the day, worked on wife's laptop, gave it to her today. She is enjoying the new computer. Did get a bike ride in, saw one of the guys that live here full time while ride and rode with him for a while. Rest of the day was getting the house ready for Christmas dinner.

Didnt do much today. Slept in. Read a lot, mostly history. Found a history book of the county available online from google in pdf form, a free download.

Didnt go outside at all, not even to get the mail.

At the
Christmas eve service at the little white wooden 190 year old church, The one with the pipe organ, where many of my relative are buried, there was an angelic voice behind me singing in perfect pitch soprano. There were only about 60 people there so after the service we found out that she was a New York opera singer. She was visiting relatives and she had wanted to go to the church her relatives had gone to a generation before. It was almost like a Christmas miracle.

Benny the stray cat actually let me stroke and scratch his ears yesterday. The DIL got in a scratch too, later. I think he is someones' pet.

The cats will be getting stoned today. I've got about a 1/4 lb of cat-nip for them.

Poured second cup of coffee. 24° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 34° with cloudy skies. Had a good time with son and his family yesterday. Going to be a quiet day here. Except for phone calls from family and friends around the country. One of our Christmas present will be our oldest sons visiting us next month. Haven't seen him in over a year.

Day started going to Dunkin donuts and for coffee and they were closed
30 Degrees and clear
Family coming for Christmas dinner so my day is starting early 23 pound prime rib and 24 stuffed shrimp for the main course, shrimp cocktail and Italian wedding soup think I made 120 little meatballs for the soup. Cheese cake, peanut butter pie and Italian cookies for Dessert. Diet tomorrow.

Very nice church service, great gospel band and I stood beside the best voice in the house. Ellen can hold her own with any of them, trying to get her to rejoin the choir/chorus. She stopped when she was caring for her late husband, but such God given talent needs to be shared.
