local women's shelter just emailed me back saying they couldn't use a Santa Claus this year due to shelter moving but would remember me next year. Well, I tried...
Delivered a xmas gift to my two year old neighbor, a box of flavored fig newtons which I know he likes. Didn't bother wrapping, not like little kids that age care...but I did put a stick on bow on top, the lazy man's approach to wrapping. His mom gave me a plate of xmas cookies which I need like another hole in my head. I admit regifting half the last plate of cookies I got, even with freezing some, this is caloric overdose for me. Too hard to take the weight off.

blue sky, lovely day out, waiting for it to warm up a little and then I'll go blow some leaves. Went down to local gas company, looked at their propane heaters, ordered smallest one, 6kw, with legs, for inside of my baby greenhouse. Was worried 10k would melt the plastic...they will hook it up with a flex line I can take off once the weather warms up and put the whole thing away.

In the sub-forum “news/feedback there is a thread about apostrophes coming out messed up using a mobile device to post. I can’t duplicate it with my iPhone. All apostrophes come out perfect. Does anyone else on the morning thread have problems with apostrophes on a mobile device on TBN?

24ºF and lightly snowing to start the day. Still snowing with little accumulation so far. I might see 1” between this wave and the dried up clipper arriving later today. High temperature today will be around 32ºF. 1" of snow will not cover my field.

Don- I am sorry to read about your aunt and her son. Still active and dying at home doing what she loved doing is not the worst way to pass. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers. I am happy to read that Mom’s Christmas party was well attended and everyone had a good time.

65 °F and .66 inches rain. Will it stop and dry enough for me to sealer my newly stained and neutralized concrete???

Actually there is a power line above the property above us, running to the FAA station and cell tower. About 6 houses are also connected. Very doubtful they would run it down the road, not enough clients. A previous neighbor (since moved) attempted.
Technically, I possibly could get power from existing line but i would have to pay for the new poles and get easement from neighbor. Then i’d have the possibility of my lower neighbor wanting same, so i wont. Who needs the unsightly lines!
