didn't check my lottery number but in no hurry to chuck it in the trash as usual.
But I did find something fun for Toppop's Christmas.
I'd like to see him retro this into one of his favorite cars.

Put it in your truck, tuned for torque, maybe 900 pounds at 1600 rpm. Who needs diesel? ;)
Biggest cost of this engine is the tires...
Smoke 'em if you got 'em

I didn’t know you could do that. Are you saying these things can fly on their own like auto-pilot? Or do you still have to fly the things? I’ve stayed away from them thinking I just don’t have pilot skills. Guess I should look into them at any rate. 🧐

Welcome txndncowboy!

Rumor is 800 h.p. In crate form, and most likely over $20000.

Low 40’s with wind and clouds overnight, sunny, breezy and 50° now. High of 56 today. Getting ready for our trip to Tennessee starting Sunday, after the last car show of the year on Saturday, if we don’t get rain. Heading out to build a ramp for Ellen’s building, take the sprayer off the tractor, go to the bank, get ready for cleaning ladies.
Everyone have a great day and God bless.

Wait a week let us dream.

Good morning! 53 degrees cloudy chance of rain this afternoon.

Eric that is quite an assortment of homes. We call the ones that are 2,3,4 together townhomes, or as they like to call them in Sun City - cottages. On the other lots look fairly large we would call them estate homes. I'm surprised they do not come with enclosed garages. If you ever can show us some floor plans that would be interesting.

As far as Dogs you should be far enough away not to be disturbed by their barking. However the walking paths on your property may get landmines. I would suggest to the developer to put a doggie station at the boundary between yours and his property. We have doggie stations every 600 yards or so on the walking trails and sidewalks. The doggie station consist of a metal trash can and a roll of doggie bags. We have no problems. At the condo in Houston a doggie station was not provided and there were problems. we have a dog park in the neighborhood but our pet club does not use it or recommend it because dogs get moods and fights cannot be prevented. Whipper would be unpredictable in a dog park so we don't expose her to it. She has enough social life with the dog next door running up and down the fence barking for a few minutes every day, and we take her walking every day also.

I put large potted plants on her "jump over the fence ledge" and that has seemed to contain her. She has tried to jump over the gate but cannot. She usually jumps about the time she thinks she should be going for a walk. When we got her DNA tested and they listed her traits one was that she has to have a run-about and will walk herself if not walked - so true.

Gray2 has been better in the cold weather wanting inside as soon as he is put outside EXCEPT yesterday when the temps got above 50˚. He can usually sit with me on the front porch but yesterday, for the first time, he bolted to the neighbors. I did a dive into their flowerbeds but missed him then a scramble at their front door just and grabbed him by the tail to squash his new found freedom. He is back on leash law and on probation for adoption. He found and ate a small grass snake on the porch and threw it up on my truck, so I guess we are even.

It's not to bad this morning 29°. Yesterday was mostly sunny and in the mid 50's. It looks like today is going to be about the same.

Finally got the camp trailer back yesterday. They only had it for over a month. I have about 2 week to get ready to go on that hunt in November I should be able to get that done.

Making another trip to town to day to pay for trailer and do some shopping. I'll do some work on the trailer when I get back and go out this evening and look for a elk.

Hope everyone has a great day.
CWB.

Back from Dr. I am doing good. Do not need to wear Immobilizer (arm brace) in the house. Just be carful to not fall or lift anything with that arm.
Poured first cup of coffee.
Remembered to buy lotto tickets on way home.

Good morning to all! Low of 33 this morning, currently 40, up to 54 later. It has been overcast, cloudy, foggy, intermittent drizzle, intermittent snow....everything but sun. It's been like this for the past 3 days. Really strange for here. No big rains or precipitation, just enough to make it a bother.

Off from work today, going to just putter around doing some small 'put off' projects. Back to work tomorrow.

Drew, did you look at the tickets yet? The suspense is getting to us! Ahhhh....to dream....

Ron, hope your shoulder is a little better today. Good luck at the doc's.

RNG, the bumpers are looking good! Too bad you have to make so many modifications to something that is supposed to be a fit.

Everyone have a great day. Prayers out for those needing.

Good Morning!!!! 56F @ 7:30AM. Sunny. High 79F. Winds light and variable.

Always nice to see a new face from Texas.:welcome:

Sad to hear of the housing development, Eric. Hopefully you can all get along and the increased population pressure won't lead to problems. If they do, though, I'm sure that there's a bureaucracy to take care of it, right?:confused2:

Managed to get the bed liner on the bumpers yesterday, and if they've cured hard enough overnight, I'll get them installed today. Another head scratcher is that the fabricator used all SAE fasteners, and I don't normally carry SAE tools on trips. So I'm looking into what it would take to swap them over to metric. There are several aluminum thread inserts on the things as well, and I really don't like the idea of bolts running in aluminum threads. Then again, they're all over the motorcycles, so maybe I'm just being over cautious.

Also bushed the trailer hitch pin bores, and had just enough of a whisper of argon flow to get them tacked into place. The empty bottle, along with a couple feet of cardboard, is loaded in the van for a grocery run to town today.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

When I first found out about this fabricator, I knew he was interested in making bumpers but hadn't actually made any yet. I gave him my ideas about how they should look, and looked at the prototypes he came up with. The set I have are probably the forth of fifth generation, and are still somewhat prototypeish, so the issues I'm seeing are not unexpected. And I'm perfectly OK with that. It's part of the reason I asked him not to powder coat or paint them, as I was almost certain I'd be making changes to them. Overall quality has been excellent, especially for a one man shop still trying to take care of his main boat repair business. And they do accomplish the goal of providing a good amount of protection for the body without weighing down each end by a hundred pounds or more. I "pitty the fool" that has the misfortune to back into one of those monsters.

Morning all;
28 degrees this morning, breaking down and starting the coal fired insert.
Four ton of bagged coal for supplemental heat ready to go.
Should have ordered the winters fuel oil been putting that off, time for about a 1000 gallons between house and tractor tanks,
better then some years when I'd get 15-1600 gallons.
Be safe and enjoy

39 this morning and headed to 58 today.

Well you guys have been busy.

Litter is done composting. So I spread 2 barns yesterday and will do the other 2 today. Then level down and pulverize then drag smooth. And then be ready to setup. Birds come end of next week.

Drew. Good luck with tractor search and consolidation. Have you tried to use one of those friction lock tie down straps to hook up the pto. Loop around top link and use it to hold the weight. Then you just have to slide the shaft on. Lottery drawing is tomorrow. Hope you have your tax plan already wrote out. Is there a size limit on the tractor?

Rng. Good looking bumpers. Nice to hear something is finally close for that van. I’ve been looking at ranch hand bumpers for my new truck. They weigh 300 lbs. without the winch. Need to price them. That will determine how feasible they will be. That’s a lot of weight to add.

33°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 61° today.

The FB guy came by my work yesterday afternoon and I bought the EQ pedal. Seemed like a nice guy. It looks brand new, and even had all the original paperwork in the box. When I got it home last night, I only had to spend about 5 minutes of tweaking between it and the guitar amp before I found that blazing sound I've been seeking. Digging it. Since I got the previous project backed up on discs last weekend, I guess I'll start in earnest on the next one this weekend.

Welcome to the Good Morning thread, Cowboy.

70°F and 1.41 inches rain. Still raining. Wetter than yesterday. No mowing today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Is there a size limit on the tractor?

for you Farmer, old buddy, old pal...anything you want.
but no one won...

mowed for an hour, planted some bulbs given to me, and generally felt fuzzy from
the decongestants. At least they are working, somewhat. Do not want this to be
the two week crud. Lungs make little gurgling sounds at times, can entertain myself with
new noises. If I were a musician like PJ, I could really make some wheezy beezy music.
One more day of this and it should be done.

Ron, glad you are doing better.
LS, hoping your knee is truly on the mend.

65, sunny and beautiful out.

Glad to hear you're doing better, Ron. But sorry to hear you wasted your money on that lotto ticket, since I already have the winning ticket.
