Roy and family still thinking on doing leaf peeping north looks to be the last weekend.
Don, I do not have a Captioned Telephone. I figure they're great when needed, but I use a phone as little as possible anyway, and so far can use both the house phone and cell phone with the hearing aids I have. At least 90%, or more, of the time when my phones ring, it's just another scammer calling. So we look to see what number a call is coming from before answering, and ignore most of the calls.
Making progress on my beer cabinet.
Decided best approach was to install a drip pan under the cooler/cabinet.
So i crafted one today from aluminum sheet. Approx 20.5x19x3, which according to Siri handle about 5 gallons. Interesting as i don’t have a break or really much for sheet metal tools. Reaching way back to HS shop class, i drew out template and then made paper models to get cuts and bends right. I think i want to install a fan to aid evaporation, something like Universal AC 11V-24V Ball Bearing 8x8x25mm Brushless Computer Cooling Fan | eBay . Question is how to control. Some sort of moisture/leak switch? any ideas?
I was going to suggest the float switch from a bilge pump but I don't think you want an inch of water standing in the pan waiting for the float to get high enough to turn the fan on.
